I deleted social media about 3 years ago. The only “social” platform I had was RU-vid. I downloaded BeReal cus it’s really not addicting. There are no ads or “casino type” feeds. The feed ends with how many friends you have online so if you have 3 friends, you only get to see 3 posts and so on. You cant filter the photos. Everyone gets the notification at the same time. It’s nice, I would suggest it

Don’t. It’s literally the fakest and most boring thing. People are faking “being real” it’s actually funny. You can still edit it a tad and if you had to compare it to anything itd be like the basic idea of Snapchat. Take a pic for your friends

I really don’t think snl ripped this one off. the fairban films skit was only posted 4 days before this, and snl would have had the script written at least a few days before it was posted. i think this is mostly a coincidence

So this is mighty close to the same premise as Fairbairn's "When BeReal goes off at the wrong time". Not exact, theirs was after a bank robbery, close enough when coupled with the Charmin skit though to make a person wonder if some of the writers are just surfing youtube for ideas thinking no one will notice
