Cried like a baby about 3 weeks ago when this was played at my niece/God-daughter’s wedding. Lost so many family members, but last year lost my aunt, who was always the life of the party, dancing all night and singing this song. Touches my heart and soul. 😓😓

Brings me nostalgia and a lil bit of pain it’s like wow those days are actually gone, I’m all grown now, no more child. Moms still here but you know one day it’s gonna come for her to leave ugh my heart. One thing can’t get back is the past. But have to carry on in the now. This just depicts when days were simpler and even more happiness, when families didn’t switch up on you and friends were actually friends. The further along we get in life it seems the more things are falling apart, you can understand why those earlier times just hit diff. Gonna be such a loss when brother beres ascend, reason why we should cherish them now and then. Such a gifted soul and talented brother. Much love and respect man. When I was younger my father used to play Beres Hammond and specifically this song a lot. He passed away a couple of weeks ago and I can’t help but follow his tradition and keep this song on repeat.
