I really like the 21A. I have several different variants including an inox, and both the new covert and FDE threaded barrel models. Self protection, trail/camping gun, range gun, plinking, etc. This pistol is extremely versatile. For such a small pistol, it is surprisingly accurate (at least accurate enough for most 22LR chores) and reliable as long as it is kept relatively clean, lightly lubricated and fed with quality ammo.

Thanks for watching Savage! I plan to do another video with the 21A soon, testing a couple of different self-defense 22lr loadings for it.

I purchased a bobcat mod 21 in 22lr .. about four years ago used in absolutely mint condition.. beautiful Deep Blueing & lite colored Walnut grips ... Instead of the traditional Beretta logo on the grip.. it has a gold medallion that says ....."SHOOTING & HUNTING SPORTS HERITAGE FOUNDATION SPECIAL EDITION" .. I am so lucky to have found this Beretta in mint condition ❤️ it functions the best with Remington yellow jacket and viper conical shaped bullets.. not one jam or stoppage with the Remington yellow jacket in viper

I love little Berettas and mouse guns in general. They are more useful and more capable then most realize. I have a few little Berrettas in Rimfire, but I do want a 25ACP Berretta. I will find one eventually. I absolutely love the design and the aesthetics.

Well done, I just subscribed. I shot one of these nicely made little pistols in .32ACP recently. I was shooting on a silouette target: at 10 yards I had 7-shots in the ten ring and one higher in the 9 ring. At 7-yards I got 7 out of 8 shots in the preferred zone of the head, with one pulled off the silouette. It worked! I was impressed. I have recomended these pistols for self-defenses for people with little hand strength.

Thanks for watching and subscribing Frank! The 32ACP versions are really nice. The tilting barrel makes it so easy to load/unload, especially for new shooters. No need to ever rack the slide. And they are surprisingly accurate for their size.

The 25 ACP and the 22 long rifle hyper vel .. are actually about equal out of the short barrels power-wise..BUT the .25 acp FMJ HARD BALL penetrates hard barriers like the skull in sternum much better than the non jacketed 22 long rifle which attempts the flattened itself out upon striking hard objects..

They are a beautiful little gun. The 25 ACP version is exceptionally reliable with any ammo while the 22LR version is reliable with ammo it prefers. Most any semiauto 22LR will work with CCI Minimag round nose ammo. If it doesn't work with CCI Minimag round nose ammo I look for a gun problem. Yes, most confrontations happen very close where the sites on this gun are sufficient or not even used, however, having a set of useful sites make shooting the gun accurately so much easier. Beretta, give us a model with sites that can be seen by most people. At least something as good as what is on the 32 cal Beretta Tomcat
@texmexshoots
@texmexshoots 2 года назад
Well said Frank. I agree that for all practical purposes, this will be a close range "point and shoot" type of pistol. But it would be great to have improved sights. With all the pocket pistols that have come on the market in the last decade, you would hope Beretta would maybe update this model.

@@texmexshoots I like mouse guns and full size guns. I used to have a 99% condition Beretta model 20 in 25 ACP. It was a beautiful little pistol. I enjoyed shooting it at the range but the sites limited my ability to shoot it very well past 15 yards. I rarely carried it as my Ruger LCPII 380 was thinner and about the same weight. I have a pair of Baby Browning 25 ACP. 1 in a 1959 gun that is completely rebuilt to new specs that I carry when I need something really tiny and the other is a 1967 model in new condition that I keep as a collectible.
@texmexshoots
@texmexshoots 2 года назад
@@frankbrowning328 The LCP is a great pistol! I have the cheaper predecessor, the P3AT. Use it all the time in a kydex pocket holster that is so thin it disappears in even shorts. Those Baby Brownings are beautiful! I came into possession of one a couple of years ago. It's one of the shiny ones (chrome?) and looks like it hasn't been shot much. One of my shooting buddies calls it a "Hooker Gun". 🤣
@frankbrowning328

@@texmexshoots The nickel BB guns came in standard weight, and are worth another $100-150+ over standard blue when in 90-99% condition. The nickel lightweight with the aluminum frame is worth a lot more. Those are typically 2X the value of a standard blued model. Some day I hope to own 1 of each of those. Yes, The KelTec P3AT was the beginning of the truly successful pocket 380. I have a KelTec P32 that occasionally I carry as backup. At 6.36 ounces it's the lightest center fire pistol made. Its so thin and light you forget you have it with you. It's even lighter than the Baby Brownings which are around 10 ounces

Did they use the term "Bobcat" on the .22/.25 mouse gun? The .380 Bobcat had a lot of problems with frame cracking and I'm not sure they ever fixed that problem, but I don't know if the smaller frame guns had the same problem. Nor do I know whether these small guns have a problem shooting it extensively.
@texmexshoots
@texmexshoots Год назад
If I remember correctly, the Beretta "Tomcat" is the one in 32 acp. Not sure if they make it in 380 too. Some of the early Tomcats had issues with frames cracking on the blued frames. But I think they beefed op the slides a bit to take care of that issue.

Yo Texican, you have a Beretta. Guessing after watching Lethal Weapon you went and got one. Had it maybe 20 years now. 😳 Back then think it was 80 - 90 dollars. Now it's around 150 now. (I think) Still make them too.
