You know what really matters....accuracy, and the Beretta beats Glock all day every day! I'll take my Beretta 92 from Langdon Tactical any day over a Glock. 😎👍🇺🇲 Maybe I just prefer the Italians? LOL
@@twoton I’m not at all tho. I shoot my inox 92 and 96 better than every Glock I ever shot. That’s just me tho. But I have had a beretta since I was 16 and I’m sure the fact that I have had five different ones In my life so far, 2 Bruniton and 3 inox, that I tend to be a little more used to them than Glock. I am biased tho. I just love the looks and feel of the beretta. Especially when firing!! 🤤
@@jackcorley1863 Fair. In the last 25 years, I've owned at least as many handguns, and at least half of them were Glocks and Berettas. My favorite was my Vertec 96 .40cal. Shot like butter. Ironically, my most disappointing gun I ever owned was my Beretta 84FS Cheetah. The slide was too small, grip too big for the overall package, and it had a grammatical error on the slide etching from the factory in Italy-*-*DOES NOT FIRES WITHOUT MAGAZINE*-*--- LMAO
@@twoton I have never got to mess with the vertecs but they are beautiful. I have always loved the way the 90 series berettas looked and it was the gun I wanted most as a child. Every since I was 13 I would save up all the money I could work for all year long and once a year, around October or November, i would give my money to my mom or dad and they would take me gun shopping! I was always very responsible with firearms because my dad had me hunting and handling them since as long as I can remember but my dad wouldn’t let me have a handgun. He thought of them as a wast of my money because I couldn’t get supper with them and thought that I would just get in trouble with it at some point but my mom lived out in the country and she knew that I just wanted pistole to shoot for fun when I was at her house. But not any pistol, I wanted specifically a beretta 92 since I seen it on resident evil, the very first game for the PlayStation lol. Long story short when I turned 16 I finally had saved the money for one and my dad finally agreed to let me buy one with several exceptions 1 I wasn’t allowed to leave the house with it for any reason unless he was taking me to shoot it at the range and that’s pretty much the only reason I would be allowed to leave the house with it because I was not allowed to carry it on me under any circumstances for any reason. Even while hunting my pistol stayed home until I was 18 pretty much. And it stayed in my moms room and I only was allowed to get it when I was going in the back yard to shoot it. I had a decent little pistol range in the back yard and I bet there’s thousands of casings on the ground there. But I had some money left after getting the 92 and come across someone selling a beretta 32 acp for like $150 so my mom let me get it too! One of the dumbest things I did was swap that little 32 for an Ak-47, but it gets worse, the guy let me choose between two, one Chinese norinco or a wasr-10, and what did I chose? You know it, the wasr-10 😖because it had a cool looking stock and I just didn’t know there was a difference really. But we all learn from our mistakes don’t we? Sorry so long, all this beretta talk just brought back some memories! But I never understood why my father wouldn’t let me keep my pistol in my bedroom until I was grown myself and he absolutely did the right thing. Him and my mom had been divorced since I was 3 but he still had control of my pistol that stayed at her house because my mother wouldn’t let me go around my dads rules. Just good co-parenting. I wasn’t about to break any of his rules tho because for one, my dream gun would have been gone for ever and he really was looking for a reason hard too because he was worried I wasn’t mature enough to have a pistol while dealing adolescent drama. But I wasn’t stupid and was not going to grab my pistol when I got mad but he didn’t take the chance and eliminated the possibility and rightfully so. And 2, he only whooped my ass one time and I still remember it and I really deserved it and from that point until this very day I’ll never do anything that man tells me not to do again lol. Im 35 and still don’t want another one🤣
@@vanesavegacendejas7989…….Beretta factory mags are made by Mec-Gar. Mec-Gar makes, what are arguably, some of the best mags available. Their mags are original equipment for many well known, respected, firearms manufacturers. The “crapped out” mags are probably military contract Checkmate manufactured mags that have been loaded/unloaded many more times than most civilian mag will ever see. Mag springs are a “wear item” and are intended to be replaced. I bought my first Beretta 92fs in 1992. I’ve owned many Beretta 90 series pistols over the years and have had zero issues with factory mags.
Glock is hands down the common sense choice for carry. But the 92 Compact in Inox is just plain beautiful. You can actually hear how smooth it is when you rack the slide on camera. Fun video indeed on 2 of my favorites. Thanks for filming it.
The risk of having an accident while holstering it is less with a hammer pistol because the trigger is heavier in the first shot. One has to be very careful with any gun, but with striker fired, you must be twice careful
Owning a g19 and a 92x compact, I will say both are pleasant to carry and I have no concerns with either firearm also. Great video and keep up the good work.
Rhe 92X RD0 Compact has a newer, bettter Trigger, vertic slide, and better grips. Comes with 15 round mags. Just bought one with g cocker and waiting for delivery. Also can change both from and back sights
That long first trigger pull in double action isn't a problem when you need to shoot fast. I've been on both ends unfortunately and you don't pay attention to double action. Same as a revolver. Great video both are excellent proven guns👍👍
This is one of the best reviews I've ever seen 👏! I used to carry a Beretta 92FS full size in a shoulder rig. I am 6' 3" 280 so i had no trouble. But yes the weight is the big difference. Now I'm pushing 70 and went Glock 26. Very easy strong side carry. Berettas are beautifully crafted firearms though.
Shoot both side by side , there is literally no comparison. Beretta under rapid fire is more controllable, faster on target . All I hear about Glock that it is lighter . It is , and that’s it . Better trigger , better sights . Most important can holster the beretta with hammer down with thumb over it , no chance of discharge. Glocks work , the mags are cheap , I have Glocks . But comparing Glock to any 92 series is not even close .
Recommend it, very nice quality. You get what you pay for. It's not cheap but built so well. Even the full-size fs92 is wonderful, Beretta is on the top of their game on these pistols. Now CC that's your personal call, Me I personally would go with a G26. Also same reason as Beretta, these compact pistols both Glock and Beretta can take all magazines bigger as they are the smallest. My G26 can do from 10 rds to 12rd, 15rd, 17rds, 33rds, and up. My Beretta is the same 10rds, 13rds, 18rds, 31rds ect. Gives you the ability to do more with it with small differences.
Wilson's Combat who does a reworking of Glocks and Berettas. Send them the gun and for a decent price you get a superb handgun back. With that said Bill Wilson said, "If I could only buy one gun off the shelf, it would be a Beretta"! His opinion is they are the most of the shelf gun ever made. I understand he has hundreds of them. Both these guns are solid guns. Personally, I would take the Beretta out of the two. Best to ya',,,,!
Personally my experience has been that Glocks carry more comfortably IWB but I shoot the 92's better than the Glocks. So when it comes to concealment, I give it to Glock, but when it comes to performance... easily the beretta.
I've always liked Beretta , that Gen 5 Glock looks like junk next to the Beretta, I've also shop booth and I'm just not a Glock fan the Beretta is much smoother to me smooth to me
I don’t have these two models but I love my M9A3 and G45 MOS…both are great pistols…my carry is my P365XL. I think it’s the perfect size carry gun..the other two are for home defense
I will take the Glock every time. I have carried one for work sine the late 80's in several models. First the G17, then the G22 in Gen 2. Then they issued Gen 3's in Model 22's. Over 30 years of carry for work and a Glock has never let me down. No, it is not "pretty". All black and plastic? Yuck. But it works. It firs my hand like it was made for it.
I own the 92 inox compact, hardly ever fire it because I appreciate it's beauty. I will say one major downfall to it though: trying to find a decent holster or accessories for it is extremely scarce and difficult. Example is that Blackhawk holsters, which I love and have many, do not make one for that model. They only make for full size 92s. That's my only downfall I don't use it as a carry pistol.
If you can find one, get a Centurion. They took the best of the compact and mated it with the standard frame so all full size accessories will work and Beretta hit a home run with that combination. If 9x19mm is too much an 84 or 85 works too. .380 is.no joke by any means. I know neuropathy and all forms of arthritis can be a bitch to say the least. Only Glock I own is a Glock 21. 13+ 1 of .45 ACP is a tough argument to beat.
Around the 15:40 mark, you get a good look at the bottom of the slide where it's rounded. The machine work looks a little rough for what you're paying. What do you think ?
if your familiar with Massad F. Ayoob , the beretta 92 is one of his personal carry guns. He and I both carry 92s. I don’t dislike Glock I owned one of the first G17s back in the day. The issue with some Glock owners is they think no other pistol exists and that is just not the case. There are at least a dozen 9mm autos that make excellent carry options. P88 , P7M13 , P35, P225, and P226 which I own are all good options.
I have that 92. Put in a D hammer spring to lighten the DA. And it lightened the SA also. G de-cocker installed. Wilson combat short trigger for my short fingers. Also Lok G10 thin grip panels. Front site sucks, but you get used to it. And an Olight mini flash light for the home. 30 round mags function great and fun at the range. That being said, I have owned and like Glocks also. Just a different animal.
One thing that I saw was that the Beretta compact in the the back strap/mainspring housing in the frame didn't have the "Hump" like my O.G Italian Stainless 92FS from 1993, made in 92. I know over the years that they have made that adaptation and others if we're looking for it,what exact model?
Good catch. The only way to duplicate that is what I ended up doing in the video. I cycled it with the safety on but I held the slide forward and back (I don't like to slam them home with no round in the chamber). It didn't go fully in battery so the decocker did not trigger. As soon as you push on the slide a bit, and it goes fully into battery, the hammer will decock as it is intended to. So, it isn't a way to carry it "cocked and locked" and get around that design intent.
Do you want to leave your Son an ugly black Block Glock Tupperware piece of plastic gun, that belongs under the seat of your pick up truck, or a beautiful Beretta ? There is no safety on a Glock other than a drop safety. Glock Leg is a real thing. The Beretta is one of the most tested & reliable handguns ever made. I will always prefer a DA/SA Hammer fired pistol every day of the week. Glocks feel like shit in your hand, the grip angle is all wrong. The Beretta becomes part of your arm when you grip it !
Yes the Beretta feels like an extension of ones arm, when I felt the Beretta I bought it I've never had any other gun with a better grip also it had the hogue wrap around from Bill Wilson's shop I did not know there was a compact I would have bought the compact oh well I'll just have to get one
I like to restrike on the Beretta specially with older ammo I found if it doesn't go bang a few more pulls and then it goes bang with older ammo can't do that with the Glock I would rather just keep squeezing the trigger a few times till it fires if not eject it out better wins Beretta
Glock is meant to be in a holster they should not even be allowed to be carried concealed are you going to have a loaded cocked Glock in your fanny pack on your waist and your life depends on that trigger not getting bumped by something it is definitely possible to have an accidental discharge with a bunch of junk in the fanny pack keys lipstick all you need is a lipstick to get stuck in there and push back and bang I would not even allow a Glock to be on the concealed carry list unless it's in a holster and I love Glocks it's one of my favorite guns the bread is way safer just put on the safety if you need it take off the safety and squeeze this is kind of a stupid comparison it is a good video though they're totally different guns
How come they never show the guy's face it reminds me of the neighbor on the show Ted Bundy married with children when they only show half of his face for the entire episode and he talks too much in monotone
