Definitely the best air gun channel anywhere. Straight to the point, no gimmicks or bravado just real professional reviews and advise. If I’m looking for anything this is my “go to “ place. Heat shrink on the silencer is easy and very neat.

maybe "boring" in the sense that there are no loud sound effects, no flashy bright colors, no quick jumpy edits every few seconds, and no other distracting nonsense. but if that's boring, then sign me up for a lifetime supply of it.

Hi Andrew, as an American gun owner i just want to give you kudos for your presentation review of the Beretta 92fs pellet pistol several years ago. Because of your full info video it helped me decide on choosing the 92fs as my backyard target pistol. I feel it was a wise decision given the quality of the German made Beretta92fs. It is a great replica of the actual model. It has provided me with hours of fun shooting in the confines of my backyard. It does have a great feel to it when targeting those pesky tin cans. Also use old table saw blades as targets that produce a nice ring to it upon impact. Again Andy from across the pond,many thanks ,keep up the good work . Cheers🇺🇸

I have a particular soft spot for the Beretta 92f also. My grandad owned a real 9mm before they banned handguns, and I had quite a lot of range time with it at 25m. He also had a S&W .38 special that chucked .357s down range, a Walther PPK, a Webley .22 WW2 officers revolver that broke open, a Llama .22 semi-auto that was nickel with a pearl grip and a few deringers. Those were some fun times! I may consider buying this now, especially with the Pard RDS in the kit, it could be used with a 45 degree canted pic rail on an air rifle for some multi environment pest control for inside farm buildings for example. Great review as always Andy, it always leaves me wanting more from yourself. A week is a long time to wait for the next one. Keep up the good work, and I'll keep 👍🏻ing the reviews as always.

15 or so years ago I added a 92FS to my collection. I never really got on with it. Even for a "lookalike" I found the trigger too heavy in double action, and whilst obviously better in single action, it also lacked feel. There was an annoying click when pulling the trigger too. In the end I sold it, but a couple of years ago I bought another, this time brand new as opposed to secondhand. My brain said it was too expensive for what it was, but I still had a 92FS itch to scratch, so added it to the pile, to find a heavier, and very gritty trigger and that same click as you pull the trigger too. The finish is ok, but not of the same quality of Umarex's of old. I still have it in the collection though. A good oiling session on the trigger mechanism and plenty of dry firing to "run in" said mechanism, which has helped, but with this, and other more recent Umarex models added to my collection, I don't find the quality is there anymore. They certainly aren't rubbish, well, ok, tthe Smith & Wesson Model 29 is, but not quite up to the standard of my Umarex Model 586 of around 2009. That all said, the price of this kit is very good. All that extra stuff and case for the same price! The so called silencer seems to be more of a sudo compensator, and with those holes allowing the sound to be diverted more towards you, no doubt is the reason for the ear ache 😁. Like the tape modification. Looks great. There is a plus point to the moderator/silencer. These type of pistols from Umarex are a little awkward to close the action on and very easy to put your fingers over the muzzle of a loaded pistol. With this one with all the accessories, you have no option to cover the muzzle when closing the action. However, the silencer means your hand is not directly infront of the muzzle, so becomes a nice safety feature.

I have exactly that. As the owner of a real 92, back in the day when such was allowed, I can confirm the weight and balance of the non kitted version feels exactly how I remember it. I tend to use mine in the raw, which is a bit of a waste, but might have a go kitted with the tape hack. A bit more power would have been nice as, if you shoot the little steel silhouette figures they tend to head butt the pellets back at you.

This Beretta 92 FS is a very good buy if can get for a decent price. You'll get so many nice accessories - plus a nice large case, which even is branded Beretta.👍🏻👍🏻 If not a fan of the accessories, you can just take them off. Unnecessary lettering on the side though might be annoying - as at least seen so on the slides of these XXtremes before..

@@simonnoble7589 Greetings! We're all good, thank you for asking. How you been? Yes. These Umarex 8-shot split slide pistols usually are very nice and good. Got the Walther CP88C, Colt Government 1911, a few CP99s and of course the Desert Eagle myself. All very nice pistols. The CP88C though being easily my #1 favorite of the non-blowbacks.. Been actually having a great day. Did a spare part for my Sig Virtus today - which I yesterday noticed to have a plastic tube cracking into pieces. Hoping now the new part ro be even better than the original. Will see that later today.. You too have a very awesome dayand weekend! 😊👍🏻

Nice video, I love your posts and watch them as often as I can. I've got this gun without suppressor and optics. But, the gun is all the same. And yes, the grouping is really good. I love it. My Beretta didn't come with a sile... ahhm a suppressor and thus without inline threading I bought a kit that gave me the possibility to apply a suppressor. There are some on market and the one I chose works well. Now I can shoot this gun inside my home ;-) with one of the suppressors I already own. BTW, I added another additional kit to prevent damage to the snap-out parts (to load the mag). It is the guide rod and a spring (if I remember well). Some community members criticised, that the mechanical part will fail soon if the snap-out mechanism is used too often undamped.

Over the ports in the "moderator" to reduce the sound signature. Electrical tape is great, but you can get rolls of "vet wrap" which is a material type tape that sticks to itself and doesn't leave a residue when removed. So it can be re-used elsewhere if needs be? It comes in a wide variety of colours, some types even have various camo patterns, from desert to British DPM to black kryptek (or black python). The black kryptek would look epic wrapped around the can and would potentially reduce the sound signature even further due to its composition. A couple three wraps over it, and I should imagine you'd be pretty close to 0 dB?

I've seen a review, where they measured the energy/speed of the Beretta 92 fs xx treem with and without moderator. They measured around 130 m/s with and around 110 m/s without moderator. They also said, that the grouping with moderator was better than witout. Does this also happen when "taping" the moderator? I can't imagine, that the guys from Umarex put a moderator in the box, that makes it louder but not better (more precise). As far as I understood, the moderator spreads the turbulent CO2 behind the pellet to the sides, thus stabilising it.
@three-phase562
@three-phase562 Год назад
Great question, would be interesting to see an answer. I haven't seen the moderator in person, but looking at the video, I get the impression that it is more a a muzzle brake design rather than a moderator design.

Sir, one piece of information that I would really value is the trigger pull weight. Sometimes you mention the trigger pull weight, but most often you do not. The trigger makes a huge difference when shooting a pistol and when the trigger is too stiff my hands will shake with the effort of firing. Please include the pull weight in all you reviews.
