The date of this upload is when my Beretta showed up unexpectedly at the door. No communication whatsoever with Beretta. No workorder, no email showing the work that was done. Beretta customer service is still the worst.

Just came here after watching your previous video with all the customer service trouble. Very happy to see that you have a properly functioning firearm. Take care and God bless my friend.

Glad it’s at least fixed. Yes, let us know what they did, and they really should have done a better job at communication.

New subscriber here...and 1301 Tactical Gen 2.5 owner. I've never had a hiccup with mine at all. Curious what was causing your issues but its clear that the first time it was in, whoever was looking at it didn't know what they were doing. You will LOVE this gun! Enjoy!

You still had a much better experience than I did my friend, I went through a personal hell last year over a 92A1 courtesy of Beretta’s “customer service”..

Note to self. Wait for the factory to repair it if I have problems with my new 1301. That I'm still waiting for it to ship.

I had a nightmare with my 694 repairs and now my A400 Xcel is in for repairs. I can only imagine what I will get back…Beretta needs to step up!

Sir, I experienced the same failure after a few hundred shots, much to my regret. Being the vendor a skilful Beretta repairman, he simply replaced the faulty shell elevator with a Comp Pro one, under warranty and free of charge. People say that the standard shell elevator might have been made by a subcontractor (unlike the premium one), therefore production tolerance is less severe and minor defects may occasionally occur.

I never had this problem with my 1301 Tactical L. E., but i just purchased an A300 Ultima Patrol which has the same lifter as the 1301 and had the same issue until i changed it out with the factory pro lifter. Problem solved! I put a pro lifter in each, as it is a much better system for loading and the way Beretta should have designed and built them from the start.

It’s funny because I had the opposite problem. When I switched to the Pro lifter my bolt release started getting stuck. I took it to a gunsmith and he said it was a little tight and sanded down the side of the pro lifter and then it started working again. I haven’t shot with it yet so we’ll see.

Love the two 390s I've had for 15 years. 12 and 20 gauge. When Beretta was bugging out of Maryland they emailed me a sale notice, and I scored a smooth cylinder bore rifle sighted slug barrel for the 20 gauge for a cool price. That's my experience with them. Sorry I didn't get a 1301 before "The Plage" when they was under a K . But I'll pay market if I find one now.

It’s a crappy feeling getting a gun defective out of the box. Makes you question the gun every time. Makes you not want to buy from that manufacturer. Even if they fix it still has a sour taste.

people need to keep in mind that whenever you are dealing with products in mass quantities? There will always be a certain percentage that just come out of the box defective. It of course sucks when you're the dood that got the lemon , but thankfully you were able to get it taken care of. The 1301 is a top tier shotgun and an amazing weapon. keep that thing oiled and firing man!

Their service really is horrible and very very slow. My 32 acp came back broken with a note that they cleaned it. Piece of crap. I'm down to 2 old 380s from them and I won't be buying anymore and it's a shame cuz they make kinda cool stuff

No one , in any real life situation, would use the single feed method that much. It's a Tactical Timmy move that someone started on the internet. In all of my professional training have I EVER known anyone to single feed that many times. I've trained through the USMC, then at Tactical Response, and Thunder Ranch, on numerous occasions. It's meant to be a stop gap between reloads. Also, I've been following your progress with this issue and have commented prior. Are you sure they didn't send you another firearm altogether? I've had issues with Remington in the past and when they couldn't figure it out they sent me a new firearm.

He has had issues with that before so I bet he’s doing that to try to induce a failure again. Looks good to go now.

Running repeated port loads is just a good drill since a port load is required when reloading from empty and its important to practice. I don't think anyone thinks they'll be using the gun like a single shot for any extended period of time. Loading the tube is always to be done at the first opportunity.
