I am glad that you will have a chef. From your charters, I have seen how time consuming planning and preparing meals is. You guys and Alexei are on the same page. Really liked this podcast Victoria and Rico. ❤
Once again, Alexi is a man I'd buy a boat from. His willingness to accommodate your special build is awesome! Look forward to seeing your new home, and thanks for the great vids .
Wow....what a lovely team you are. Would never say that's a business deal. Looks like your friends for years. Everyone is excited for your dream yacht and all of us to see the end result. Thanks all of your guys, and good luck.
Amazing layout. I have personally wondered why boats aren't using a very similar layout. The use of space is perfect. Thanks I love watching both of you and Alexei on this journey. Hard work pays off.
Poor Alexei! Seduced into negative windows. Renaming the dance deck because of the influence of his audiophile friend. Being quizzed across the Atlantic by his favorite customers. Life is tough. Thank God that Bering is a customer centric company.
Being in construction I always love looking at plans, I can visualize the whole boat from just seeing that, wow,you guys are so fortunate and I’m glad you can live a dream of a fabulous boat build. It looks like the decision to go with Bering was the right one.
Beautifully thought layout and personal ideas in what will become the Bearing 75 jewel of the seas. With your extensive familiarity of yachts, and boats in general, your vessel will be a head turner that yatchtsman will drool over.
I have to admire Alexi's positive attitude toward solving problems. He spends precious time making things work, not wasting time trying not to make things work. If we can only get a Bering that will get up to 16 knots, then all will be good in the universe.
Such a smart investment. Your out of pocket costs for operation and maintenance are going to be minimal. The key to success is doing what you love. So happy for both of you, you deserve this.
I paused to study each floor plan,as presented.and am very impressed with the layouts you've worked out together.Such an amazing ship.Congratulations on the collaboration. "Valhalla" is a wonderful vessel. Heaven on the seas.
Your enthusiasm Victoria is infectious & I fully understand why. You guys will be great as charter hosts for your guests. This will seem so overwhelming going forward as the build & decisions continue. Enjoy the ride as you drag us along with you both. 👌🇨🇦👍
When a builder has there priorities in the right order a boat naturally comes out right. It’s so refreshing to watch. There’s no endless nonsense being said about infinity views and door knobs being like pieces of artwork bla bla bla
I am glad that you guys put out content during the week with your NautiGuys channel as well as posting content on the weekend with your NautiStyles channel! 👍👍. It keeps my interest peaked!
Bering is an amazing company, but Alexei is an absolute jewel. You definitely got the best of builder and friend in this arena. I'm excited for you both and very impressed with the sound choices of Bering.
This is so exciting listening to your ideas and concerns and solutions. And learning from Alexei's and seeing your plans and the people and place your Bering 75 is being built. Okay everyone.. get some rest, you too Alexei. Thanks so much, Mark.
I am overwhelmed by the decisions to be made and it isn't my boat!🤣 One good thing is that you can totally trust Alexis to guide you as to what will work and what won't! I like the fact that he seems intent on making your wants and needs possible rather than just rejecting them out of hand! In an endeavor such as this trust is of tremendous importance! You trust him and he trusts you will listen to him! Love it!!
I am super excited for you two! This is a dream coming into reality. From inception of this channel you've been talking about things for your future boat. Now, many of those things will be incorporated on this Bering 75". The build process will be so interesting and such a big deal for your viewers. I've been watching Ruby Rose in Vietnam and now I go to Turkey. Thank you, thank you. I'm so grateful to you Victoria and Rico. I'm wildly entertained and I'm learning so much! Love to you always.
I like your configuration. If / when you decide to trade you will find the versatile layout very attractive to potential buyers. Very excited for you both over the build process.
WOW Can't wait to follow the build. I noticed the storage under the stairs on the lower deck. That space is massive. Congrats guys It's soooo exciting!
Awesome build. Thanks Alexi for showing the commitment you have in the process. It shows I want you to build my wife and I a 77 to truly explore. Thanks Rico for discussing the electrical. Keep putting your touch on it and enjoy!
thats a mighty impressive shed there, its always amazing to see the ideas turn to drawings, be cnc cut into jigsaw pieces and then a bunch of talented guys stich the lot together with the electric glue as i call it
I'm actually quite amazed. You really have squeezed all the essentials into a 75 foot yacht! Your main deck lounge really does have the variety of spaces needed to make it feel much more than it might otherwise be. The only thing a bigger boat might hold over you is a jacuzzi. 😉
Poor Alexei! I think he is just realizing what he let himself into, lol! This build is going to be crazy! So many extra layers of spec and tech and Vic’s seven meter long NBBL list… but if anyone will be as cool as a cucumber to produce a brilliant boat it will be him! ❤❤❤
My 'guess' is Alexei has been around the block a few times and dealt with much more difficult customers. Since this is a first off with building a 75' charter, I reckon it's best to go over all ideas and decide what works best. It's not like Naughty Styles hasn't seen many yachts and maybe figured out what would work best for them and crew.
Great episode, now it’s starting to get real. Liking the general arrangement choices you’ve made so far. The idea of putting the crew quarters on the main deck is genius. I didn’t hear anything about Rico’s DJ setup on the dance deck. 😂. Can’t wait for the next episode and the one s after it.
Guys, I can't wait to see it. John from the channel Yacht Bouy said he saw your guys yacht on the build line when he was there doing a walkthrough of the plant. I believe he was featuring a Bering 72.
@@NautiGuys have y'all decided where you're going to be chartering? Will it be California coast and the northwest or down in the Bahamas and Eastern Caribbean?
I have been following your channel only for about a year or a little more because it sounds so much fun and you guys really do good contact. I’m excited for you both.
Exciting update once again. As one Sub. had commented.. It is so nice watching you all going over the plans toghether more as friends rather than Vendor and Consumers!! Yet again.. the glisten in your eyes Victoria when vlogging about this build😍 Waiting for the next one Victoria and Rico!! Cheers, Bernie😎
I noticed that the crew quarters was very close to the 'Victoria Time Out Spot'. What some might call 'a chain locker'. Real Nauti fans know what that area is called. They also know there will be a dishwasher, rounded 'corners', a very cool ottoman, 4 wine racks, a mini fridge in their master, a Brig tender, and storage everywhere. Everywhere
Think about THE DAY when this boat is being delivered to you guys? WOW. That's going yo be Hugh. Happy for you guys to have that moment to look forward to. Love from 🇳🇴
Like Rico, I can't wait to see and learn about all of the Mechanicals. I was a Boiler Technician in the US Navy many years ago, so mechanical systems are my thing. The "Negative Windows" are also a plus! Great call
Best wishes on your new build. May it become all that you have dreamed and wished for, with many wondrous years for both of your future!!! God bless!!!
I love watching you two with Alexi. He obviously loves you two. Ive seen him with other RU-vidrs and hes not the same. You bring out the best in him. Anyways. Excited for you all. Take care.
OoooMmmmmmGgggggg !!!! I just can not wait for more of this and to see it complete and in the water!!!!❤ from everything you have shared she is going to be badass !! I’m so happy you are sharing this with us thank you 🙏 😊
I love both of your channels and I am Super excited that you are taking us all on your yacht building journey with you! Maybe one day I will get to experience that process myself, but for now, you guys are the next best thing and I think we all Love you for that! Keep the awesome videos coming and we will keep eating them up!!
Guys, this is awesome! I love following this build process, even though (I'm afraid to say) I'm a bit behind on the videos that you have posted. Something that I haven't seen addressed yet, in the design, is placement of the many TV screens that will be on board. For the cabins, I hope that you'll be putting some of the larger screens on the ceiling above the beds, instead of as popup screens from cabinets. I tried the above-the-bed idea in my house, and it makes so much more sense than wall mounts or popup screens if the intention is to make it primarily viewable from the bed. Think about it: No more pillows to prop up just to watch TV... Much more comfortable and frees up some valuable storage space.
Hmm. It's very interesting to see the plans they've got so far. I think, for me, I would go with a different layout. Understanding that you want to charter, the space available to your guests needs to seem both expansive and accessible with no jarring breaks in available areas for them to pitter-patter about. Your crew, especially your deckhand, would need to have quick access to important systems and rooms, such as the engine room. You want to have two master's and an owners suite... but you also want some separation for privacy's concern. You also want to have plenty of access outside for them to be able to hang out as well. I think you need two clear sections in your yacht... A green section, where everyone is welcome, and a blue section which is reserved for you and your crew. As a live-aboard, you want to be comfortable, but you also don't want to take away too much from the guests. As such, your access, like hallways and the like, don't need to be as wide as the guests' access, so you can save some space there. I think too much space is wasted on the middle deck. (I'll call them upper, middle and lower deck) It's a ginormous lounge area... Fun... but I think it'll actually make your boat feel smaller to your guests. Here's what I've come up with in my head... On the lower deck, bow, take that room and make it your owner's suite. Full beam. From there to the engine room bulkhead, separate the area into thirds, port to starboard. Take one of those thirds along the starboard or port sides and divide that space into thirds from bow to stern. Take the third closest to the bow and turn that into a studio/office. Use a wide door to connect to the owners suite so it can be opened and considered an extension of the owner's suite. The remaining two thirds of that section will become the crew quarters. There should be enough room for a couple bunks, couple hanging lockers and a decent head, along with the washer, dryer and whatever other necessities you put in there. Connect the Owner's Suite office to the crew quarters for easy access to the washer/dryer and add a door to the engine room on the stern end of the crew quarters. So that used up the bow and a third of the midship area of this deck. Use the remaining for a master's suite and either two smaller cabins or another master suite. Now we go up to the middle deck. The area towards the bow that you used for crew quarters and utility can now be used for 2 additional cabins. Use up a bit of the space your kitchen area used to make the cabins a little larger. That gives you 4 or 5 guest cabins, including one or two Master Suites. Now, from the stern bulkhead of these cabins, to about mid-ship, divide the area in half, port to starboard. One of these halves will be a full-sized kitchen with breakfast nook that is open to the other half. Within the non-kitchen half, put your barstools at the counter and a couple small, but comfy chairs and low table against the outer bulkhead. Stair access to both the guest areas and Owner's Suite/Crew quarters will also be housed here along with the door to the bow cabins. By doing this, you're reducing some of the open area that is empty space, giving your self a bigger kitchen and adding another couple hangout spaces for your guests. Depending on how you want to do it, you could have the breakfast nook at the centerline of the ship, and also have a bar/bar counter to the stern of the kitchen. Keep everything open (except support pillars)... If your eyes can see more area, the mind will think the area is bigger, even if the area is actually smaller or split up. From midship to stern, turn this into a living room, kind of like how it is already. Have an open staircase to the upper deck. You want to create openness without actually wasting space... Plus I'm sure Bering can make it look beautiful. Maybe install a wine fridge under it? Eh...? Ehhhhhh? lol. The upper deck where your Owner's Suite is currently will become a formal dining room. You'll be up higher so you'll have a better view which will make for nicer meals. Additionally, you'll be creating an indoor hangout area by the helm. Add in a mini-bar. You can also add a dumbwaiter directly from the kitchen to the upper deck for easy transport of food and other goodies. It'll also make for a really cool hangout area, since it'll have the best views. And when you don't have guests, you'll have it all to yourselves. :) With all of this, you've effectively created your green zone and blue zone and your guests will be none-the-wiser. You've got ample space for entertaining, plenty of space for lounging, both inside and outside. You'll also have a full-sized kitchen and easy access from the owner's suite to the engine room if need-be, in case things go bump in the night when they should go brrr. Add some full-sized windows to the owner's suite and you'll have one helluva view there too. The only drawback is the increased distance from the Owner's Suite to the helm, but with the way technology is these days, you could add some displays to the office that would show nearly everything the helm would anyways, along with some controls. Call it a 'remote-helm'. It's all about making the most use of the space available. If you've managed to read all of this, my hat's off to you, lol. These are just my ideas though, so you can feel free to completely ignore them if you're happy with your layout as-is. I look forward to seeing how everything turns out!!! Cheers!! :D
I love that you are taking us along for the build process. It is hugely interesting even for us that will never have such a boat, thank you very much. I do have one question though, what is a "negative window"?
It all sounds fantastic , I'm even very excited for you both , also envious ( because of age and medical problems I cant get back on the high seas any more , I love the ocean ) it's a beautiful , practicable sea going home , love it . Cant wait to see your maiden voyage . Thank you very much for sharing !!
I was 'off' for a few weeks, and came back to 4 new videos, including the FLOORPLAN one I've been looking forward to! Awesome! On to the next adventure... 😄
After seeing all of the Bering videos, if I ever get lucky enough to win the Lottery, I would build. Bering boat no doubt, 1st item on my bucket list. Wont ever happen, but I can dream 😃
Hi Alexei, Rico and Victoria, Love your videos and I love the BERING line... I am inspired, I have been researching where I might go with having my own... Question: what do you mean by "negative windows"? thanks!
Siri always so much fun to see Alexei! This video is a lot of fun and really interesting! I really enjoyed seeing the shipyard and the ships currently under construction. I find the full construction part very interesting. It’s exciting to see the space where your yacht is being built and to know that will be seeing footage of the actual construction! Love from Vermont
Very exciting to build such a boat and make all the decisions to meet your needs. Sadly I can’t afford a Bering but I guarantee your videos with the owner has got a lot of people looking closer at steel and displacement. Looking forward to the next instalment.
I know for a fact that these two are responsible for at least two orders being on the books. They are the best brand ambassadors Bering could hope for.
I thought y’all’s hull had already been built on a previous episode when y’all took a tour of the interior structure? Congratulations on the new Yacht build! Would love to hopefully one day get to go spend a week on a boat/yacht in the ocean for the first time. I’ve never been on or in the ocean but have a deep love for it as well as marine life.
Such a great video guys! Just love watching you three interact! Chef and deckhand/steward is a great idea! I really can't wait for, what will be the ultimate yacht tour video. For us to be able to be part of your journey is so gratifying hehe.
Thank you kindly, it’s was Turkish Airlines biz, the splurge which allows us to be most productive when flying somewhere for 16-hours for just a couple of days 🤦♀️🤪
Thanks. It is very exciting. When I win the lotto I'll buy a pre-owned yacht and have modifications made gradually as needed. It will be less stressful for this old man.
negative windows are right choice. They will look great! I started to buid 80 feet custom ocean explorer and strugeled lot make my mind between positive and negative windows. 😇
Recommendation: only light - whity coloured wood panels inside and a lot of polished stainless steel everyway! Also ask for a lot of fishing equipmet installed (nets. rods, harpoons, scubas and etc.), secret safe for weapon and money, two or three rescue boats, backup radio stations, helipad on the nose is desirable. Last wish: turquoise (light green) will be very popular in the future instead of white!
one of my favourite boats on youtube is a jay benford 57 named teddi bear and it also has an amazing master on the lower deck but my choice would be the guest it has on the upper deck behind the pilot house due to views alone so I support your guys decision
So excited to see the real below deck charters take us along in your amazing bering 75 I've dreamed about a 65 since I saw them in motorboat mag years ago
