This is really disappointing. Berke was my favorite of the Euro's. He could have still been a key player in the rotation. Good luck to him.

This could have been my post. I feel the same exact way. I really thought he had good potential. However, none of the euros performed well at all. The whole season was rough.

Using Zach's words, Mick Cronin "sent a few guys packing." It is usually assumed that students enter the transfer portal because they are either chasing NIL money, or they are unhappy with their situation (for example, due to a limited amount of playing time). College students entering the transfer portal because coaches have pushed them out the door is an ugly aspect of college athletics that few people talk about.

The team stunk and Coach Mick addressed it. The adjustment to college is difficult enough for local kids. Asking a lot from a teenager to travel half way around the world and outplay older veterans while remaining academically solvent.

Berke simply wasn't up to it. He's sized like a 'big' but his interior game simply wasn't working at all. About 80 percent of the time he got stuffed. Maybe a little slow... and not strong enough. But I wish him luck in the future and hope that he can gain strength and confidence. His defense was decent. Did some rebounding. The new roster will be MUCH more athletic... and will shoot the ball well. As for the 2023-24 season... there were just too many players that weren't ready. As for the upcoming Big 25 schedule... the travel is going to be brutal. I don't like it.

Berke had a 4-year scholarship to UCLA. It didn't guarantee him a position on the basketball team, but it did guarantee him a free 4-year education. Berke should have kept his scholarship and stayed at UCLA to get a free education.

Berke had no footwork in the post. I was rooting for him but he wasn’t ready. He saw the future next season: on the bench.

Berke was never able to find his way with the team. It seems like when he started playing , team played bad. Definitely won't miss him. He never made a difference
