Love the Gulp plastics........easiest plastics to thread onto the jighead I reckon.......and if you get them bang on straight, you've won half the battle.....keep up the good work Dave!!!!

Greg Vinall, Doc Lures did a podcast a few years ago on this. Basically oil & water don't mix, must be water soluble oils. You will notice it with " Tuna oil " & it mostly just creates a slick on the surface.

The gulp prawns are really good, also those little 2 inch pumpkinseed curl tails jeez I've caught some bream on those, keep up the good work Dave 👍

Good video mate, I’m trying to get myself to Lake Macquarie soon, never been there. Are there any shallow areas to be aware of?

I cant say scent makes a difference with using plastics or not. I have used both and caught fish i also fish solo.

The scent covers up the smell of the angler I believe, the fish aren’t jumping at the extra smelly crab scent, it’s what they can’t smell because of the scent that makes it valuable during a hard bite
