The route of bus 101 ((wikiroutes.info/en/berlin?rout...) is just over an hour long. It starts at U-Bahnhof Turmstraße, runs past the former BVG depot Helmholtzstraße, crosses the fancy Kurfürstendamm, and ends in a quiet residential area in Zehlendorf in the far southwest of Berlin.
Because the Konstanzer Straße was closed, the bus was diverted via Kurfürstendamm and Brandenburgische Straße.

Cool video. I'm a bus driver in London and it's very interesting to see the differences and similarities between the two cities. I see cyclists are as much a pain in the ass in Berlin as they are in London. Visiting your city in a few weeks time and looking forward to having a ride on one of your awesome 'Sonnengelb' buses!

I agree with you there. Allowing cyclists in bus lanes doesn't seem like a good idea to me. A cyclist is quite vulnerable and sometimes difficult to see, plus many cyclists don't know how to behave responsably, while a bus is large and has limited rear visibility. If an accident happens between the two of them, it easily ends in tragedy. In the Netherlands (where I'm from), the bicycle capital of the world, we have lots of bicycle paths to keep cyclists and cars/buses segregated where needed. The difference with the situation in Berlin is huge. MusTheBunneh it is quite true the Netherlands is miles ahead of everyone in bicycle infrastructure. In Berlin, the authority is just shubbing bicycle pathway wherever they could without much thought put into it.
