Hello, thanks for the tips! Would you personally just hammer the hole with a stake more? I noticed there is a thin ring washer in the arbor hole so I did not want to risk breaking it. Also, in terms of shock setting oiling, are you suggesting more or less oil based on what you saw? Many thanks in advance!

Just be more precise with the oiling. The idea is to place a small circle of oil on the end stone and then place the jewel chaton on top.
