Stefan Dohr is on the right, and he is considered among the best in the world. Check out anything by him - Tchaik 5 solo, especially. WOW! The gentleman to his right is Fergus McWilliam, who for years and years was the horn player in the Berlin Phil WW quintet. A Scotsman, an amazingly nice guy, and a BEAST horn player in all the WW5 literature. Then, Klaus Wallendorf, who wrote the arrangement and has skills also beyond words. Then Ms. Willis, who makes me happy I'm not a horn player - she is the master of the low horn! I would not be able to stand the jealousy. She also did Horn Hangouts, and is just amazing at everything. I don't get how these English speakers become so perfect in German. The members of the quintet told me that Mr. McWilliams' German was PERFECT, and we know from the YT vids that Ms. Willis also speaks fluently. I am already jealous enough about that because I studied for years to become simply average... :-) Now you know them! Enjoy!!!
Yes, because everyone loves sitting around listening to piccolos trill for hours. Although having a root canal in every molar might be a good second choice.
Piccolos are not easy to trill, contrary to what most people think, it takes a lot of practice to develop support required to pull off a clean in tone trill, and this is coming from a professional piccolo and flute player
