CAN UGLY ACTUALLY BE BEAUTIFUL?
In our alternative guide to Berlin, we will share some of our tips and suggestions on everything from what to do to where to stay and eat.
We will visit Berlin zoo (zoologischer garten), walk museum island and enjoy Berlin by the water by taking a river cruise on Spree. Recommend and look at some great bars in Berlin such as Klunkerkranich, ORA, Kantine am Berghain and Holzmarkt 25. We visit two of our favorite restaurants in Berlin in Brasserie Collette and Kimchi Princess. We stay in Maritim Hotel in Friedrichstrasse. Come join us!

Definitely still worth a visit. I'm booked to go in October for the Festival of Lights which I hope will be better than last year's comparatively miserable offering. Just wish i had a companion to share my visits with

To appreciate the vibes of Berlin you have to be young. Older people don’t understand the attraction of an anarchactic looking public space. The good thing for Berlin is that young people are important for a healthy economic development into the future 😉

Nicely done professional looking video .I am going there next weekend from Dublin for the 100 years celebration of the BMW motorcycle .I lived there for a year back in 1977 and returned for a visit in 2007 approx.The wall was gone and the no man land strip between the two sectors had been largely rebuilt .This will probably be my last visit in this life time .I prefer to explore new places now that i have never been to before .Being on a Pension i will be on a small budget .I will definitely be eating street food and checking out that Holzmarkt 25 .

The graffiti is not nice. The beauty of Berlin is almost becoming nonexistent due to the abusive nature of the liberty to express art. There are a lot of ugly graffiti than the ones beautiful. It's a shame that whiles other cities are enforcing laws to prevent chaos and preserve sanity and decorum, Berlin is encouraging destruction. Europe is gradually falling to shame.
