In Bermuda, people celebrate holidays and special occasions by creating and flying colorful kites! Now you can join in the fun and learn how to build this traditional kite.
There are several good examples of what a Bermuda kite looks like. For example, there's a RU-vid video called "Bermmuda big kite launch". Now this is a traditional Bermuda kite!!
Ok I was born in Bermuda and have never seen something like that. When I was 6 I made one out of tissue paper and popsicle sticks that looked way better and flew better. Try using string for the design of your whole kite without cutting the string from start to finish. Then you can claim to have made a "traditional Bermuda Kite." Oh yeah and we did not have to run to keep our kites 2 feet in the air. We stood in one place at let it out over 1000 feet.
how to fly a kite 1. Wait for heavy breeze 2.Heave the kite in the air 3.Hold the thread and slacken the kite to how far out you want it to go 4.HOLD THE KITE AND DONT LET GO(unless it is tied onto somewhere) 5.enjoy flying the kite
u didn't even make a video on how 2 attach the string and that video u did, for the attach the bridle thing? yeah, it's only for a DIAMOND KITE. nice going.
@Micajan lol im american and i know this is shit i have a friend from the bermuda area in highschool and he made a homemade kite with real imported materials and it was alot different and very vibrant with colors
I am Bermudian, made many kites, and have never EVER EVER EVER seen or made a Bermy kite like this..a hott mess We dont even use most of those materials..just tissue paper, sticks, glue, bed sheet for the tail, string, etc i dont even know what mulberry paper, cloth tape, mac cord, etc is
Have to agree with you Josh....THIS IS NOT A BERMUDA KITE!!!!! Stephanie Lee if you're still monitoring this post, I look forward to the removal of this post as it definitely misrepresents Bermuda kites and kite-making:(
