A wonderful rendition in which Ms. Peter's hard work at mastering her vocals' abilities and not pushing herself too hard, shows how it is properly done for a woman of her age, especially that extra sweet ending.
I didn't see this gala concert last year, but I just came from London and saw STEPHEN SONDHEIM'S OLD FRIENDS. Bernadette sings this song with even more raw emotion now. (I saw it several times - once from the third row orchestra where I could see the tears on her face.) Suffice it to say - the whole show was fantastic.
So so so jealous! I could not get over to see it and I so wanted to! Hopefully they made some kind of recording 🤞🏻 it looked epic, so jealous you got to see BP live so many times!!
Yeah she’s performing her concert show fairly often still, with various orchestras and she’s headed to the West End later in the year to perform in the concert tribute to Sondheim, so she’s still quite active!
