Hi I have a B79. I am having a lot of trouble with tension and the thread is bird nesting underneath. Any suggestions. I have cleaned the machine and put in a new needle. Plus the thread keeps breaking
Look in your manual on the included accessories page. If it's not included, you could purchase one, or perhaps there is a quilt piecing stitch that uses the edge of the standard foot as a 1/4" guide. I don't have this machine in front of me right now, but I hope this helps.
Class 15 is a common bobbin type. They are available through your sewing machine dealer. Only use bobbins that are the same shape and size as the ones that came in your included accessories, and only plastic, not metal. They are class 15. The class 15 bobbins are probably made by different companies, but are standard in size and shape.
