That's my mom there . Aside she being spiritual, she's very prudent , noble, virtuous, and fun to be with. I had the privilege to serve her for many years, and a few things I love about her are her humility. She's down to earth, and also, not envious or boastful. For someone who grew up a stone throw from Korlewokon, I can boldly say that Bernice is preaching the gospel of Havanna, Korleworkon, Swalaba, Bukom, Akotolante, James Town and all its environs. it takes the mercy of God, self discipline and the Grace of God to make it out of there and actually make something out of your life. Hello Dennis, you just brought out one of my only two huge lifetime obsessions on your podcast. I am obsessed with Jane & Bernice and their body of work. It took me 25 years to understand the true depth of their music. As a young man born in 1995, I grew up with their music. I had a huge crush on them when I was about 10. Their music is what the bible calls 'the Gospel'. And after I understood, I could not believe how mama Jane and mama Bernice could pull scriptural truth into good music like they did. They are too deep. Let mama Bernice know that she formed the model of the woman i wanted to marry. She's a beautiful woman of God. Mama Jane's writing skills is the best in this world. She is beautiful and gifted. They are mentors I study from afar. What a duo! Such an anointing! It is my wish that on one of my best day to come soon, i will pay to catch a lunch with my women crush for 1 million dollars. Try and put Mama Jane on this too. I miss them both. Just came across this interview and am a bit emotional, because I grew up and her, she lived a block away from my house. We went to different preparatory schools but we went to evening classes together and oh God, I haven’t seen her for close to 30 years. We used to hang out together when we were kids. She was a tough cookie and I remember we had a fight and never spoke again.

My life has been a blessing as am currently working with a reputable international organization. I still can’t imagine how Christ maneuvered me through all the challenges of life coming from a broken home and the attendant abject poverty.

I came to Ghana and realized the guy had married, interestingly i thought it was with Bernice but found out it was with someone else. I asked so many questions but never got an answer.
