@@Mompfried I mean that if you see a very good guitarist playing great, but still no way in the Gary’s Zone, you clearly understand how Gary is a Legend
I agree and understand your words, you are absolutely right! Gary Moore was so unique, he was the one and only. Nobody can play the level, feeling and the way Gary played!
He has had an amazing career. From Whitesnake to this blues stuff, he is a living legend. He also has one of the most famous and best sounding Les Paul guitars ever, the 1959 Standard known as "The Beast." It actually growls when he does bends on it. In his hands, it is amazing too.
Just played this in my apartment on the highest volume possible and got some complaints from the neighboors. All I could say was: "Sorry, the speakers won't go any higher".

Absolutely true Gary Moore‘s version is the absolute best, but seeing TWO 1959‘s played on the same stage by two absolute guitar heros of which one was played by Gary moore for exactly this piece is freaking awesome
You go to a gig these days.................. Bernie Marsden is there. You go to a guitar show or shop opening............Bernie is there......You go on youtube guitar channels.....Bernie is there. Did he play at the Spice girls shows?!!!
@@GenerationGap69 haha that's true, Gary wouldn't care less)). Didn't mean to sound negative at all, just being sad that we lose such people as Gary, BB, Prince, etc - and we would never get anything even close to them in return. Can't stop myself from thinking abt it when watching such videos. Nothing against Bonamassa he is damn good at what he's doing.
@@andrewthesea it's sad when they go that's for sure, he was a legend. I think he would be glad though that the guitar isn't dead and there are plenty of people like Joe and others (who don't get the publicity) that are doing their bit to keep it alive.
@@gav25x Bonamassa is just a spoiled autistic man. I'll agree that Gary Moore was technically way better and his playing was more emotional, but the Beast Les Paul was significantly a better instrument. I can only imagine the end result had it gone to Gary Moore instead of Marsden.
So what I take away from this is the vibes just naturally flow through Bernie, Joe seems too manufactured, looks like he's having a shit with those facial expressions. Bernie rates him good enough to welcome him on stage, so that's good enough for me, I'm not a musician, so what would I know, I'm just telling how I see it, feel it!
