I would highly recommend the Bernina 325/335, they're known as the Rolls-Royce of sewing machines for a reason. All Bernina machines are very high quality. The b77 is actually a Bernette machine, not a Berninia. They are great machines, but not the same quality as you would look for in a Bernina. It depends on if the additional features are worth the lesser quality.

Hey! I had to double check, but I don't think that you can. There are certain virtuosa machines that can, but the 'red feet' makes me feel as if it's one of the ones that you actually can't, I'm afraid.

Hi! MA B! We've been a Platinum Bernina dealers for many many years and love their machines. If you were local to us, we'd encourage you to come in and we can talk you through all of your possible options, as we've got expert staff here every day! I don't know from who you purchased, or if you've actually tried the machine, but we also offer a try 'before you buy' and would urge you to do this before buying almost any machine! The Bernina 325 could be a great option for what you've described, as it does have a strong metal chasse as well as a full metal hook, bobbin case & bobbin and so it is quite the durable and stable machine! You also have the added bonus of (if you send your warranty card away then) qualifying for a 7 year guarantee, that sounds like a plan for that high amount of use. I would just ensure you keep the machine serviced, as preventative maintenance is always key to the longevity of a machine (especially one that is used frequently)! The actual machine it's self if amazing, and I'm sure you will love it! I got to see a demo in the store itself and I think I have made a good choice (my warranty is 5 years though... it is a Bernina reseller store and maybe that's why ?

Unfortunately I can't really speak for overseas warranty policy, not really sure how they do it, but I assume that there are differences. 5 Years is a long time still, and is still more than a lot of other products these days, so you'll be fine! As long as you keep up with your own general maintenance you shouldn't encounter any issues in the long term! I'm really excited for you, you'll have lots of fun with that machine for sure!

Hi there! I actually didn't know the answer to that until I just tried it myself. Unfortunately the answer is no, you would need a darning/free motion foot in order to actually get the machine to complete stitches. With no foot on the machine doesn't complete the stitches properly.

We are. I see what you're talking about and you're right, however this was an oversight in the video I'm afraid, as when you're put on the spot it's very easy to overlook such things. Sorry for any confusion caused by this. You can see that the bobbin winds as it should however, so if you were to miss it it's not the end of the world.

I'm not entirely sure, you'd have to check to see if you have anyone out there (like a dealer). We only sell within the UK, unfortunately.

Hi there, it doesn't come with this function out of the box, but you are able to do this with the additional accessory 'Overlock Foot #2'.

Hi! It's not too small, I think it's pretty standard for the type of machine, you'd be surprised! It really is quite an amazing machine, it's got all of the features and build quality that you'd expect from any Bernina machine!
