This is the first USEFUL video I have found about the eyelet stitch in buttonhole programs. I am having trouble sewing the eyelets for a trench coat project (belt, collar stand holder and sleeves) The material (a stretchy gabardine - yes I use interfacing!) is causing the eyelet stitching to slip and do exactly what is explained at the end of the video. I will definitely give this suggestion a try: press "i" and then adjust "balance" in eyelet program. I was so afraid I would have to go out and spend CHF 220.00 on the eyelet attachment to sew 25 eyelets. THANK YOU! The only thing missing is how to improve accuracy of placement. I have made numerous test strips but it is still hit or miss.
