There are few guitarists out there who have both skill and feel. This is one of them. In my opinion, Bernth is up there with Buckethead and Luca Strigagnoli
I was literally rendenered speechless for a moment by that performance. Bernth, I say this with complete and utter honesty that your playing inspires me to practice that much harder. Utterly amazing!
I’m a musician of getting close to twenty years. I’m technically an advanced player on violin, but I know that I’ve truly got a ways to go (a lot of it was me using natural talent to get by). This is something I wish I could do, and was astounded listening to it. I’ve personally known few people who could do polyrhythms (percussionists excluded since that’s their whole thing), and do them successfully
Oh wow that's an instant sub. I ve been dabbling in fingerstyle arrangements for a good decade so my mind is hard to blow. It's been years i ve felt so flexed on by anybody
@@ripadblock Are you questioning if they're underrated or if they're awesome? Because polyrhythms are well established in classical music and used by some of the best known composers including Chopin, Brahms, Debussy, Beethoven, and Mozart, suggesting they are, in fact, awesome. However, they're much less common in use today, despite still being useful in creating excellent music as this video demonstrates, suggesting that they are, in fact, underrated.
Bernt, you are frantic! I don't understand how you can generate all this music. Farewell is my favorite song, it would be cool if you could show how to play it. Hello from Lviv, Ukraine!
As a piano student, I really appreciate this ABSOLUTE MASTERPIECE. You’re right in that advanced rhythms are very underused, and you did a fantastic job making a song practically based on them! So you just earned a new fan, congratulations!! :D
There are lots of videos downing skills and taste for beautiful things... But this is something special. Magic melody twisting you like a spell... gorgeous!
Sir, I request you to do a lesson series related to theory. From the very first level [ 0 ] . Because I have been your RU-vid student for 3 years or more and the things I have learned from you are priceless.
BERNTH!! I need to tell you this, and when I say it I mean ZERO disrespect. I have ALWAYS loved your videos, you have singlehandedly made me a MUCH better guitar player. Guitar is MY WHOLE world its my job, its my art is my everything. So please know, that without your absolutely FREE guides, and constant lessons, and technique improvment, my life would be VERY different today, and I can NEVER be grateful enough for dudes like you putting the work in for the rest of us to stand on your shoulders and call ourselves tall. with all that said, I struggled getting into some of your original music, it was ALWAYS incredibly impressive. But it was just a bit to heavy, a bit to thrashy for me PERSONALLY. Recently, ive been seeing you put out some new work, and I am once again incredibly impressed, but I LOVE the direction you are going. I feel a lot more EMOTIONALLY connected with it, and its been a true joy to see one of my favorite guys, someone I consider a master of technique branching into some REALLY interesting music styles. Congratz on everything you've done and will continue to do. Thank you for being sooooo selfless, and helping a whole generation of shredders reach their potential!
Congrats, it sounds great!! I also use different rythms (and different melodies) at the same time during my singing workshops. And it is a lot of fun (and very relaxing).
