There's just something so heart wrenchingly tragic about this. Now something that's been seen all throughout fantasia as an arc and even part of the previous arc. Guts' narrow mindedness completely cut out what was going on in the world and what Griffith had been up to. So to witness him not only appear before him, but to also take away what he fought so hard, so long, to such an extent the very demons that once haunted him manifested inside his soul. To wear an armor that had been sapping away at his senses, from taste and very soon sight. All for what? The very man he tried to forget and move on from, swiftly without interruption, take away what kept Guts' broken psyche together... now gone. I hope he can resolve himself once more as he did before. He successfully got her back which is for the better but... the look Griffith gives as he looks down upon Guts. It simply says "You wanted to be my friend? Pathetic." taking what he sees as his, but also having an additional meaning to tearing out that paradise. He saw the magic of the witches and wizards as a threat considering they can partly see into the future, but also it may prevent the moonlight child from helping Guts on his journey since it seems so attached to his parents. Making Guts' very own past statement "There is no paradise to escape to" all the more true with Griffith tearing it like it was nothing, just like at the tower of conviction. He has gone from being hopeful to being completely hopeless. All in all, this short animation really captures the desolate state Guts' mind has turned into with Casca knocked unconscious from the sheer presence of Griffith, a man who betrayed her and violated her in a manner most tragic.
