@@ryanfosterthemagicegg1567 Berserk was on a semi-permanent hiatus due to the death of its creator and perhaps the greatest manga artist of all time, Kentaro Miura.
@@calypso819 I was referring to the video being temporarily removed but upon reading the comment I replied to it seems he was referring to berserk specifically as you seem to be (basically I read Kodi's comment poorly). I was very much aware of Kentaro's parsing and its continuation by his best friend Kouji.
Just finally got into the manga, and oh my god is it so much better. This is the main video I play while reading Berserk every night lol Sets the atmosphere perfectly and isn't distracting at the same time

I agree that the actual Berserk osts can be too much while reading. A majority of my time reading Berserk was done while listening to the soundtracks of Dark Souls. Plenty of slow ambient tracks while also having some very epic cinematic tracks that I found elevated the battle scenes.
This anime blew my teenage mind in 2002. I'll never forget July of that year, and how powerful this anime hit me. This 1997 incarnation is so tragic in that it never got a proper sequel, and in that it's original creator never saw his vision to the end, but through the spirit of his friend.
I am currently in the middle of deluxe volume 4. Started reading Berserk about a month ago now and every time I finish a volume I just sit there and try to take in how good this story is. About a man in his constant struggle to defy fate and destiny. Guts is such a relatable MC in that, no matter how hard the struggle, pick up your sword and fight! You will get to where you need to be... soon.
Dude. Same. Fell in love. With the ‘97 anime dub in 2002 … only recently I’ve been powering through the manga, and wow … I’m as viscerally affected by the totality of Miura’s work as you are. ‘Genius’ doesn’t even do him justice, as the depth of this story / world is at times incalculable.
@@deathbyastonishment5798 Berserk and Guts have already become my second piece of fiction ever. Definately incalculable man! I just finished chapter 328 cause I couldn't wait to read deluxe 12 after finishing 11 lol. Struggle on fellow struggler!

I love the type of artwork that portrays characters as small fries in a vast scenery. It captures the feeling of their important problems, plots and grand schemes being unimportant to the big, sleeping world.
if we could get an animation of berserk that was able to maintain the quality of the painting in this video then it would be the best anime of all time
Only 14,000 views? I'd like to thank you for this great piece! I've been re-reading Berserk, and the official soundtracks can get a bit intense after a while - this is the perfect atmosphere but isn't too straining on the ears.
I just started the manga recently and this is a perfect background music to listen to while reading, thank you! I can't believe how amazing Berserk is, it's just insane only with the first few volumes and I can't wait for the things waiting down along the road. I've recently been playing Elden Ring and Dark Souls III too and I'm loving these gothic medieval vibes. Again amazing job! I love it.
@@loowisk1113 Not OP, but the combination of Souls and Berserk is a perfect match. Have you played Elden Ring ? I started the Souls-like with Sekiro then Elden Ring, so when I tried DS3 the combat mechanics felt like a drawback unfortunately, didn't kept playing it
@@TheUndefeatedLoOn Yeah bro I've played Elden Ring I loved it, felt a bit drawn out in parts but one of the best games I've played too. I love Dark souls 3 for it's lore/backstory. A lot of people don't like how linear it is but I think that keeps a lot of it's story/lore in check and just really simple to keep up with. Watch a few Vaatividya lore videos on Dark Souls 3 and I think you might enjoy it a bit more if you give it another try :)

This would be great for a berserk game, or if they ever decide another reboot anime. You can hear slight remnants of original songs such as Guts theme and Griffiths theme from the 97 anime, and this one just gives that palpable feeling of the after affects of the world following the eclipse. It’s a much more broken world, void and a little haunting, similar to this soundtrack. Just imagine hearing this theme play during the black swordsman arc after Guts battles with the skeletons until daylight breaks through the broken forest.

Great for gameplay, I'm making Guts in Project Zomboid. Starting from Golden Age era, Guts walks the earth haunted by the undead. I'm about a month in, and have killed over 23,000 zombies. At day 60, the Dragonslayer can be found. This is a great edition to the journey of struggle my character will experience.
I was reading the chapter of when Griffith kills Ganishka, and the transition of when Ganishka’s body turns into the spirit tree followed by falconia just appearing, and how massive and inhumane it looks with this version of behelit playing In my ear, was a truly terrifying and surreal experience… made me realize how powerful Griffith is right now.
Thank you very much. Just bought the first 5 volumes of Beserk deluxe edition. Only thing that was missing is this neutral ambient music. Perfect within all context of the story.

Awesome... this is so beautiful. Please make some music and ambience for Skyrim(The elder scrolls v) amd Dying light 1, if you can. Also, Bleach(anime) ambience(the ambience of hueco mundo) would be awesome too. If you ever decided to make one for Bleach, please check an ost named "Nothing Anymore" .
@@Tigerhearts I mostly watched animes compared to reading the manga but people say the manga for berserk is way better, how can manga be more entertaining than animations?
@@blazingcoder3196 the manga has all of the story in it with better artwork the the animations. Since it's the original source material it leaves nothing out.
@@Tigerhearts But not every single detail can necessarily contribute to the enjoyment no? Like I watch one piece and never read the manga and tbh I enjoy the anime much more, maybe it comes down to preference?
