The first shot with the rotating camera and Gut's entrance has got to be one of the only effective scene from this entire series. Somehow they learned how to use a camera there.

JMDarkly1 there’s a bit more to it than that, I think the Main problem is that the studio was so incompetent and had no prior experience in 3D animation
This is how I feel and there was more “traditional” animation in the second season in 2017. Oh well at least Jojo is going strong but I’d like to see this get further and maybe caught up to the manga.
@@FateStrife Story telling is bad, nothing can compare to the manga, it skipped black swordman and lost children arc, very important arcs cause it show us how the eclipse affected guts and his actual relation with griffith, yeah, the story was imposible to enjoy and hard to undestand sometimes cause the animation
I mean he did go through hell, he still gets scared but he overcomes it with hatred and later on with the need to protect im sure you would be the same if everything that happened to guts happened to you
I really want to love this anime, but i simply cant. With the dreadful cgi animation and the fact that they skipped 2 of the most important arcs makes me want to shred a tear over the wasted potential. This was supposed to be best thing ever...
@@ghostreaper3904 he's referring to the "Black Swordsman" and "Lost Children" story arcs from the manga. If you have never read them, please do so. The manga is well worth your time.
One of the only part I really liked about Berserk 2016/2017 was when those guys got angel wings and appeared in front of Guts with this song. Gave so massive Boss feels I got the chills from it.

And i hope that the second season will have a little more budget. Berserk 2016 starts really horrible (really bad animations), but gets better and better with every episode. With enough money, this could be a pretty solid anime.
You probably mean Manga, the animated version wasn't anywhere as good as it should have been. Only great part of Berserk 2016/2017 were the songs. But I agree that the manga is a fucking masterpiece.
Well, the directing, the 3d animations and actually almost everything else is catastrophic. There is actually nothing that can be credited in this anime. If it wasn't Berserk, nobody would have ever watched this anime.
Controversial Opinion/Hot Take: The anime isn't *THAT* bad, I watched the '97 anime first, couldn't get past Episode 5, I finished this and Season 2, I enjoyed this one more tbh, Plus the Soundtrack gives me a Major b0n3r too, But I guess everyojenis different
Nice amv. but it suddenly came to me what is yet another problem with the new anime. There is far too much slow motion real time momentum going on in the combat scenes. It's nonsensical. The original 97 anime and the films didn't do this shit. just another reason it fucked up.
