I bet he's gotten advised against doing things with those ppl, and things he has done with them is probably overly difficult, and just learning that's the reason why while shooting the shit with your buddy is wild haha
Straight to the comments. I don't even watch any of any of their pods but that was an epic moment. I'm still watching it unfold lol boiiiii he stop to text in the moment.
Bert may be an irrational guy, but seeing him realize he may need to fire his agent *in real time* because of some crazy, long-standing beef is surreal.
@@Isaacr90 I think that's why Bert said he 'may not be able to do this podcast again' . He's so mad Bobby's agent has been shitting in the ears of Schultz, Dillon, and Bobby , about doing anything to do with Bert, that he's gonna mother-fuck that guy big time. You see how he immediately went for is phone when he put it together , before thinking better of it, he's about to talk so BIG shit.
I think his reaction and anger is because he knows his manager, not Bobby's, has talked him out of working with specific comics, everything about his reaction points to Bert finally realizing problems with his own management. I don't get how you can watch that sequence and think it's Bobby's people that are the problem.
Yeah, he's not funny, tells shit stories, and has never written one funny piece of material worth repeating to others. Bert's entire shtick is telling stories that he imbellished so that people say "wow, he's crazy for drinking that much!!" Or "wow, he's so dumb!!".
Bert started to panic after realizing that people do hate each other for ridiculous things and that it's not always just in your mind. To me though, this is even more comforting to understand because that just means it has nothing to do with you. Someone this upset about the thermostat has an internal problem.
His panic is not because of that realization. His panic is because he is realizing why he hasn't been able to work with his friends and he has potentially lost very large opportunities because of such a pointless beef.
There's a moment when Bert learns about the thermostat beef where you see him get a look like " oh I'm gonna make a call and heads are gonna roll" you see him in a instantly piece together all the times he tried to get one of those guys and it fell apart for seemingly no reason
Favorite moment: At 40:25 Bert realizes that several comics are being dissuaded from performing in his festival because of petty beef between their agents
While K is crying talking about how she loves a relationship between two people when she needed to introduce other people into her and Bobbys relationship 😂
@caliboyizhere Bobby was the one that was caught cheating so he told her to step out too. Stop trying to be parasocial and talking crap when you have no idea clearly
Holy crap!! I never thought I’d see Bert actually get pissed off!! He was trying so hard not to blow up, man I hope they recap the “thermostat beef” on 2 bears! Love ya Bert way to keep cool
also mentions he's tired of promoting, then lists what he's been promoting and makes a point of naming the title of his tour as he does it. he's the least self-aware person in the history of mankind!
Bart just stewing in the agent beef is great. That was a dad moment "a hundred percent." The rage simmering underneath his expression is perfect and the fact that its over the thermostat makes it even funnier! Its almost like when he shut down on flagrant, but with the anger of an upset father
lol no. he knew about the beef between the agents, and he got madder the more bobby and the others kept insisting. why would he not want the beef to be discussed? is that much of a beef that bert's manager didn't even want bert to go on tigerbelly because of the beef between them, the 2 managers? dayum
Never once have I seen Bert legit upset to that point. Not even the Ari thing. Hope to get a follow up rant at some point about Bert calling his agent lol. It’s actually nice bc he’s always on repeat/promoting and we get to see the reality of it.
It’s probably more so because it’s actually a potential law suit. If he was actively intentionally or unintentionally sabotaging you’re career by making it difficult to work with people. There are legit reasonable and potentially legal ramifications for even the potential money lost.
He's annoying the fuck out of me. He's acting dismissive and rude as William Shatner would to Bobby. I think Shatner and Kreischer may just hate Asian people.
Why was this the best Bert episode yet??? Idk something about how honest and vulnerable Bert was in the second half gave me a different perspective of him as a person. I really like this episode!
How funny/cool would it be to see Bert as a Jedi. He just has his shirt off training with the side pony tail, next scene he's kicking all these clone trooper asses
@@atlantean1209 thanks I didn't see why he was so mad at first. I'm like who cares if his manager told him about some random fight he had years ago. But then when Bert started naming people it dawned on me. lol
@@jonchristopher7967it's my understanding that his friends didn't know ether. It was the agents beefing and bad talking about the others talent or straight up sabotaging the other agents talent at the expense of there own talent. Bert's agent is just as guilty so if anything i see him dropping his agent not friends
Sometimes Bert plays the clown so well that you forget how emotionally complex he really is. Him talking about rekindling his marriage was so wonderful, I can totally understand why Khalyla would cry
You’re so right aftually. I never really thought of him as intelligent until this episode since I don’t find him very funny, so I only see tiny clips.! Also, Come on, you believe khalalya’s tears ?😂 you don’t know what’s happened I’m guessing with her?
@@Basuko_Smoker They broke up, that’s how! I don’t watch Bert, but I watch Bad Friends and Bobby’s guest starring/stand up clips religiously and all the comedy Meta drama channels about the comedy podcast community at work while I type away to make it a little less soul-sucking… but She’s moved out now and Bobby’s dating again! She’s actually such a sociopath, have you seen the videos about her old personal blog where she talked about fcking he r step bro, jerking off dogs, and getting pregnant on purpose to abort the babies ? It’s so fucked up dude !!!
@@NickolaiPetrovitch The fact you are acknowledging that Bert is more dynamic than the persona he portrays, while towing the "I know what's best for Bob Lee and understand his personal relationships" blindly parasocial line about Khalyla is... sort of hilarious.
@@MeanMrMustard-aka-DaDijonDon bro, I’m repeating what they said. These are clips are from quotes of what they were both saying. Lmao. I don’t know what’s best for the guy, I don’t know him-I just know what they said and what all of his friends said in the clips. Projecting much? I guess you know best ? Do you know these people personally? Go touch grass man
Bobby “i have beef with everyone, that’s who i am … i’ve had wars with many people, but i always resolve them in my own time” 😂 Bobby just started a huge war of Agents vs. Comedians.
I’m very proud of Bobby and Bert both. They both are continuing to grow. Especially Bobby. He actually wants to be a better person everyday now. That’s courage. ❤ I’m a standup comic and I look up to these 2. 🎉
I don't think I've ever seen Bert this upset. I need more, & I really hope he talks about it & brings everything to light because F**k that. Could you imagine!? Someones definitely getting fired.
The fact he knew the other comedian with that agent was tim dillion before bobby even says it leads me to believe there is more to this story. Something happened and Bert's reaction, couple with the edit means it wasn't good. Bert immediately reached for his phone like he was about to fire someone. I'm intrigued.
@@Bloopfrog Bert just found out that his agent has an old beef with Bobby/Tim Dillon/Andrew Shulz/Shane Gillis' agent, and it made him realize that's why multiple things with those guys has fallen through even after the comic said they wanted to work together. It took Bobby and Santino a year to get the Bad Friends tour setup because their agents can't get along, and Bert shares agents with Santino. Somehow Bert never knew this and has been thinking it was his fault those guys have been difficult to work with.
@@Bloopfroghe had been having trouble getting his friends to agree to work with him on tours, and he found out that the reason they weren’t doing it because their agents were not allowing them to do it because of a bs rivalry between agents.
I just love watching all their friendships grow and grow every time they are together. All the comedians. It’s just nice to see real people who are famous and still humble ❤
Bobby is so unhinged in this episode🤣 I love it! My fave thing is when he looks over at George and the producers to see whether or not he’s getting a reaction from them 😂
Bert you made Bobby so happy, his tone and stuff is dope and he hasn’t been this high I’m a while. You guys gotta do more together you both have insane synergy together 💯
Let us know if you need inspiration for something to watch.. I have over four hundred subs atm.. 🤷♂️🤦♂️😊 .. I thought of three things but then figured they might miss .. lol
I don't think I've ever seen bobby or Bert so serious when they started talking about how they don't need their agents.... This was so great to watch hahahaha. We need a follow up. I wish I can hear those phone calls after this pod lol
I've never seen this dynamic before. When Bert and Bobby get together they both become like slightly more mature people even though they both usually act like little kids. I hope they do some more episodes cuz that was really interesting and also WHAT HAPPENED WITH THE AGENTS
Dude's a washed up hack with no real jokes, movie flopped harder than LeBron every season and is already on prime (aka free torrent) lol sucks at podcasting unless he's on multiple xanax and alcohol. Only watching this for Bobo.
I've never been inclined to comment here I just figured it would get lost in the shuffle but I'm so moved by watching these two guys and the interplay the obvious love they have for each other and the way that Dynamic surges back and forth while these powerful ideas are coming from each of them. To the untrained ear it kind of sounds like they talk over each other and they're not really getting it all but it's just a shorthand that they seem to have worked out to the way they interact with each other especially on camera. It is quite remarkable this is a really really great episode.
I was proposing to my wife at a restaurant one time and Bert Interrupted me to tell me a 30 minute story about how he had planned to propose to his wife in the same way but something had come up so he didn’t end up doing so.
TRY THIS lol I just did: SCROLL THROUGH THE PODCAST RANDOMLY - GO TO ANY SPOT AND 99% CHANCE 1) BERT IS TALKING AND 2) HE'S TALKING ABOUT HIMSELF and 3) HE USES THE WORD'S "ME" and "I" I literally just did this for 15 mins and evEry single spot I went to Bert was talking about himself. Holy FUCK this guy is horrific
This comment section is so unhinged on both sides lol, and if you actually listen to the ep there’s some juicy industry beef halfway through. I love Brandt, Bobby, and Kahlyla! Stoked he’s on! ❤
@@nq6508 you obviously don’t know what alcoholics look like. Because he looks like he drinks only whiskey. His nose is super swollen, as is the rest of his face. He’s also beet red. He looks like he’s having organ issues
@@nq6508 he looks like more of an alcoholic than ever and it shows you don't know much about the signs. The water retention on his face is more than ever while his body is clearly bloated too, typical to alcohol. His face is also starting to become permanently red, typical to alcoholics. And look how dry his mouth is. Worst part of all, his stories aren't funny... especially about himself as if he is a comedic genius. There is no intelligent writing or clever insults when he tries using self depricating humor. It's just stupidity. And it shows how many people don't know what comedy is, or how easy it is to bamboozle people on what's going on. Tom Segura makes the podcast he shares with Bert funny. End of story.
Why can’t Bert admit his problem is he is a narcissist and if he isn’t the center of attention he will throw a fit, that’s why he can’t wait around on stuff
I couldn't follow everything but I do know that if I was a Hollywood agent, I'd be making calls to Bert to see if he was interested in fresh representation.
I've been as mad as Bert was and especially when I've found out that someone's personal BS has gotten in the way of my business and what I want happening, especially when the person that I'm trying to do business with is a friend and I already got them on board to make some moves, and someone else screws everything up and it is infuriating. It would have been extremely hard to continue this interview. I've had to literally remove myself from conversations and parties and whatever is going on just to go handle this first. You can tell when you put this whole interview together that he was definitely thinking that there was something wrong with him and that his friends were treating him like this and especially when Bobby is naming names of other people his agent represents. And, his agent must have known that he was having a hard time with self-image and didn't try to change. Very dirty.
I would pay front row to watch Bert and Bobby do stand-up together. These old agents are insane if they believe they’re not expendable and are more important than the talent they represent.
bobby you broke bert’s heart and mind …i’m sure he was thinking of SOOOO MANY other things that fell though and it all made sense kinda broke my heart 😢 but fully loaded is going to be freaking awesome the machine was awesome yiur rocking the world right now bart! keep it up ❤🎉
That was awesome! All family business is handled! I was a bit nervous that Bert might not be willing to fully forgive Bobo for bailing on his big day, but all seems well now, and I am very happy about that. Then, the drama, and the love, and the laughs. Great pod, all.
It's only caucasian hillbilly alcoholics that find Bert funny, when he simply is not. This is a trend I've noticed... especially people from the Florida and South.
@@jaygio Why did you make this comment a reply to mine? Did I say something that inspired it? I am not sure why race is an issue for you here, either. Please respond, so I can understand what is up.
@@msalsa1828 the only people that say "comedy is subjective" are people that don't know comedy. Clever writing and evident talent from people with a body of work that's quotable, memorable, and timeless is not subjective. As for me trying hard, what did I "try hard" with? Name 5 of some of the greatest comedians in no particular order... let's see how subjective your list is. Being able to show you are qualified for this discussion isn't subjective, so I'll wait to see your list.
He talks about Amy Schumer's mindset as if it is a thing to aspire to, not realizing her mindset got her to being hated today. These people seek so much reward and attention that they forget to have standards and stay grounded.
Was not a fan of Bobby, came here for Bert, this podcast changed my view entirely. The most real podcast I have seen in a while, both of them so grounded, not a vestige of pretentiousness. This is what the people want, in a world full of such BS and nonsense, this podcast was a gorgeous breath of crisp fresh air. Just smashed that sub button 👍💪
I love it how Bert says something that's questionable and maybe even completely false and unlikely just to get a "noooo" reaction, like telling Bobby that Bobby has "more cool followers than him", which prompts Lee to immediately give a feel-good counterpoint :D
Bert legitimately spent more than 10 minutes going on about how unbearable it is for him to work on a project that isn't completely about him. That's some next level narcissism
The way these guys give kudos to one another and celebrate each other's real. I mean REAL acts of generosity. That's the direction we all need to go with our family friends and every other person who touches our lives.
