Ingredients
Mirchi (Thick)- 6 to 7 no.
Besan- 1 Bowl
Haldi (Turmeric) Powder- 1/2 Tsp
Salt- 1 Tsp
Crushed Saunf- 1 Tsp
Onion Seeds- 1 Tsp
Heeng- 1 Pinch
Jeera- 1 Tsp
Amchoor (Mango Powder)-1 Tsp
Dhaniya Powder (Coriander Powder)- 1 Tsp
Lal Mirchi (Red Chilli Powder)- 1 Tsp
Oil- 4 Tsp
Recipe for 4 persons:
Wash and make a cut mark along the length of Mirchi (green Chilli).
Remove all the seeds from inside.
Take 1-1/2 Tbsp oil in a Pan and heat. Add Jeera-1 Tsp and a pinch of
Heeng. Now add Besan and roast the Besan in medium flame. Continue to
roast till you smell rich aroma of roasted Besan. Collect the roasted Besan
in a big Bowl.
Add Haldi Powder-1 Tsp, Red Chilli Powder-1 Tsp, Dhaniya Powder- 1Tsp,
Amchoor Powder- 1 Tsp, Crushed Saunf-1 Tsp and Salt-1 Tsp. Mix all the
ingredients. Stuffing is ready now. Fill Masala in the Mirchi (Green Chilli).
Now add 1-1/2 Tbsp oil in the pan and heat it. Add Onion Seeds- 1 Tsp and
a pinch of Heeng in the pan. Now place all the Stuffed Mirchi in the pan.
Cover the pan and place some water on the cover. Continue cooking for 5
minutes. Now remove the cover and turn the Mirchi to the other side. Cover
the pan again and continue to heat for another 5 minutes. Now remove the
cover and add all the left out stuffing in the pan and cover the pan again
and continue to heat for 2 minutes. Now switch off the heating and uncover
after 2 minutes. Masala will be cooked in steam.
Tasty Besan Ki Mirchi is ready to serve. Enjoy with Roti, Paratha or puri in
Lunch & Dinner.
