I waited for 10 minutes and go 0 fish to spawn. Then in the next 5 minutes I got almost half a stack of bones and a stack of salmon and almost a stack of cod. Just give it time if nothing spawns

sucks that they patched the last farm, one of my favorite builds. this one is slower but still glad there's a way!

awsome fish farm, im sorry cant call this a bone meal farm but this is literally the kind of fishing farm i want in my world, btw without an unloading redstone system the minecart hopper will slowly transfer things into the chest, since it never stops to unload it will only transfer 2 to 4 itens each time it goes over the hopper, im just saying because i use the same collection system for my sugar/paper auto farm and well yeah without a unloading system its slower than with it

If I had to give up my kelp-based farms, this one is a good replacement. Not as fast as the kelp/composter farm but a lot quieter. Also replaced the kelp block farm with the charcoal farm, but that means a lot more bonemeal is needed to grow the wood.

works perfectly, but as Im being me... I didn't follow the instructions like I was supposed to, so my magma blocks are one off, I hope that doesn't change anything?

Do you use any full bright texture pack to make areas light up in your videos?

Can this be built near / under the mob farm this is hundred of blocks above the ocean?

Does it have to be an ocean? Currently no where near an ocean… but have a lake….

Is there a depth requirement for the ocean you choose? I built it in a slightly shallow area and there’s only a couple block space in between the bottom of the trap and the sea bottom? Is that going to affect my spawn rates?

Idk how but I built it and everything worked fine and I come back about an hour later and the cart with hopper will no longer work. Always seems to stop like 75% of the way to the end. Any ideas🤷🏼‍♂️

MINECART GETTING STUCK PLEASE HELP ok so half way through building i had fish spawning, now nothing. idk if i just havnt waited long enough or what edit: after reseating the water source blocks on top i had one group of cod spawn! .............. welp maybe i need to wait longer? ok ive been sitting here for a minute and sometimes its like 30 or 40 fish spawning and sometimes its 0, just keep afking the farm and it WILL work! edit edit: my mine cart is getting stuck half way down and will not continue no matter what i do ok so i left the world a couple times and it started working again Minecart has stopped again if anyone has found a consistent way of fixing it?

Can i put campfire on top of hopper ? So then i will get cooked food instead

Is the platform necessary? I’d assume you could just wait inside the collection chamber and there would be the same effect

didnt really understand why ppl made bone meal farms, peaceful, nether, soul valley, 64 bone fossils/blocks = 9 stacks of bone meal less than 20 mins to get
