This is one of the best presentations. Direct, well produced, and very pleasant voice. I have the T130 and everything he says is correct. Keep up the good work. Roger of Orlando
You make this so very easy to use! Never had a dash cam but thinking this just might be a need to have! We had a couple of ‘breakers’ lately…. I like a good amount of space between myself and other drivers, some drivers dislike this! You make it look so easy, but can a senior citizen hook this all up? Starting to looking for installation experts as a possibility!? Great video, I’d like to try doing this myself, you make it look too easy! 🤗
this is what I look for in unboxing (type) video. I don't really care so much about opinion as I do functionality and specs. this is perfect. just the fact that this one has USBC is a selling point. I would have liked to hear about what actual power input needs to be. if I only have one cig outlet then having that power adapter as my only option presents a problem. great video though, some would say to simple but I'd say just about perfect to help consumers see first hand what they'll get.
Thanks for the review. How do you think it compares to the Viofo A139? Does the rear camera do it's own video processing like the A129 plus Duo or is that being done in the main body? Was also curious about the parking mode - all 3 cameras have motion detection? And will you be doing a follow up video on it? Thanks
This is the best presentation video I've seen of the T130 dashcam. The rear camera has a bit of graininess to the video quality. I'm hoping Viofo has fixed this by now in the firmware. Another thing is proper placement of this cam. This is tricky because the interior camera swivels. They way you have it now the mirror is somewhat blocking view.
Bottom line me and you did just that. Awesome bro...Love this camera and I may buy it...I would love to see the GPS portion of it...I was able to see your speed and the coordinates but love to see another video outlining how GPS works as this may be very crucial if one is representing him/herself in court about the actual location and speed to dispute any inconsistencies of that officer...
Jesus!! What a tutorial. Thanks a lot! Just a question, for the parking mode. How many hours can be the car parked continuously without discharging the battery because of the dash cam? Should I disconnect it through the night?
The hardwire cable kit has a built in voltage protection circuit that you select the cutoff voltage. I recommend setting it to 12.0V, so when you run the parking mode, when the car battery is drained down to 12v (battery is 50%), it will cutoff power to the dashcam. That way you still have enough car battery power to start your car. I have another video on installing a hardwire kit for the VIOFO A139 Pro. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-NtmLnPWkFbI.html
@@dial2fast wow bruh you are amazing. Thank you so much! I already put all the items on my amazon cart. And got the kit with the hardwire and the 254gb sd card for 229. 🔥🙏
Nice review. Will it work in Australia(?) I downloaded the VIFO app and it looks very different from the one in this review. What's the best size and brand memory card to use?
Good review video, however quick question: is it possible to disable the camera menu voice? Not to turn off the audio recording (that you perfectly mentioned in this video) but just that annoying voice informing about everything that is happening with the camera: "camera is on, ... recording... bla bla bla"... Really like to know!
Can it read licence plates at night? Also, the day videos were taken on an overcast day, How's the quality driving in the sun with glare? And does it still pick plates clearly?
I love the dash cam one question do you need to have a mobile provider to have wi-fi. I owe Dr750 2ch LTE wifi for 9 month and I'm having problem we're it turned off and on on its own.
You don't need to have a mobile provider, the phones connects the camera by point to point. Not like LTE, you can not view the video remotely, it means you cannot monitor the dashcam at home or office while your car parked.
To view the dashcam remotely, it has to have cellular SIM card capability. The Blackvu DR750 LTE can do that. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-V738FMCUHIA.html
Hi, Great review of this product. I've been looking for a dash cam that record police interactions on the drivers side whenever I get pulled over, hopefully it never happens but I have to be ready. I am trying to find an electronic store that carries this in my area but so far havent found one. might have to just order this online along with the hardwire kit. Quick question, can still have another device along with another hardwire kit in same vehicle. Im also thinking of getting a rearview mirror back up dash cam and comes with front and rear camers as well. Oh yeah I wanna be highly secured in the vehicle lol.
Hello my friend, I installed this and got 2 questions. 1) the interior image looks kind of purple, not like tours that looks great. 2) it looks like the cam [all three channels] are not recording all the time, like they are skipping many minutes of my dairy trip, plus sonetimes there are videos with a couple of second lenght when my setup is for 10 min. I even tried testing the emergency button to save random moments, but it didn't work every time. I would appreciate your comments. Regards,
The interior image may look purple if there is not enough lighting, and the IR LED is on. Check to see if you still have this problem during the daytime. As for the recording not recording all the time, you can first try formatting the memory card in the dashcam. If that doesn't fix it, try another Class 10 U3 memory card (preferably not Sandisk). If you are still having problems, you need to contact the seller.
@dial2fast appreciate it bro. For the color, I normally drive with windows close but with sunroof cover off. So light is normally enough during day time. I will try the IR, I just re read the manual. For the recording. I bought the Memory card from viofo, the max capacity, but didn't format it in the cam first. Will try that. Also will try to reduce video length and format, since each video is around 400 mb :"v. I really appreciate your prompt comments. Best regards
I have this cam installed and hardwired, what do you think is the recording time in parking mode before it reaches the battery cutoff 12v? How many hours? Is it safe to do this regularly or is it better to get an external battery pack? I fear draining the battery and sometimes put a timer on park mode for 1h or 2h
If you don't need overnight recording then use the timer, using your car battery does cause some wear and reduce life. If you do need it recording then use it, batteries are consumable items, even rechargeable ones.
I just installed mine. The picture is great, but when I’m viewing a viewing a video it pauses to download. Is there a fox for that. Super annoying. Also when the car is turned off I’m trying to access the videos, am I doing something wrong because nothing is showing up
Dashcams do get very hot (especially in summer). There is a lot of electronics packed into a small enclosure. As long as it keeps running, you don't need to worry about it. They are designed to operate in that environment. Some brands will also have automatic shutdown when it reaches a specific temperature.
NO ONE TALKS ABOUT CONS! I bought this camera and during the first day I've noticed a few things that I don't like. - Front camera, although it's 2K, you can not recognise the rego plate numbers from 20m away. When you zoom in, the numbers are blurry and not readable. Useless, unless the car in front of you is less than 10m away. Even worse with rear camera. - when you stop recording, to access the app and live view, once you're finished, the camera goes into full 3ch recording when you press the button to record, even if you're parked. So, you need to start the car and turn the car off for camera to go into parking mode. It happens as well, when you switch the camera off and turn it back on again. Ridiculous... It should be option there to start recording in parking mode straight away. - infra red light of interior camera, lights up the rear view mirror or anything that is close to it, so much that the video is dark and blurry. You need to clear the camera of any obstacle to have a relatively good video - rear camera fell off of antistatic sticker after sitting few hours in the sun. It fell off the day after as well. Initially I prepared the surface/cleaned it with alcohol, dried it and applied the sticker and than camera to it. It was a clean install/fitment and yet the camera feel off. It doesn't take the Sun well. I live in Australia 🇦🇺 So, if you're happy with all this, go for it. The video is clear enough for an evidence, if you need it, but forget about plate numbers
Rotate the camera 180 degrees, then the internal camera is on the right, also need to change the settings to get the image back the right way up. I'm in the UK and this works perfectly.
@@nigels.6051 Any issues with tucking cables away after swiveling the setup? Did you also have to rotate the CPL filter so that the white alignment lines are on opposite sides? Thanks.
@@joebrills Tucking the cables away is identical before and after rotating, since it uses USB-C cables which work normally when inserted 180 degrees out! CPL filters also work normally when rotated 180 degrees, so you can still use the alignment marks normally. I recommend fine tuning the CPL by eye anyway since the marks are not always perfectly accurate, put a piece of white paper reflecting off the glass in the centre of the image and use the live view to adjust until the reflection is invisible in the centre, you will never get it completely invisible at the sides, so adjust for the centre.
Great review. But I bought this unit and it’s been anything but enjoyable…it constantly cuts off while driving and starts beeping annoyingly….it’s all I can do not to throw it out the window running 80 and smash it off the highway….please look else where for a cam. Plenty of good ones out there
