Couldn't go wrong either way. These modern 2 strokes are worlds away from the old vibrating beasts with scary power deliveries that once existed to scare us!

Im coming from a '20 yz250fx to a '24 tx300 and wow what a bike. It was super stiff for the first 6 hours but has softened up a bit now. Personally i feel like the new wp suspension is better than my kyb on my yz for my style of riding. I can hit everything so much faster, which is a good thing because im going so much faster haha this bike halls the mail! Every time i get off the bike im just amazed at how good that bike is stock.

Thanks for the feedback. Always nice when a product exceeds expectations! Good to hear the updated 24 TX300 suspension is working great (after break in) off the showroom floor

That Beta is just such a sorted package. Love the carby sound and feel, best bark-banger out there. My TX 300 Heri has the BT stoppers, lots of complaints from others, I actually much prefer the softer feel. Brem/Niss brakes are too touchy/strong for my area (steep mountains/loose rocks/dry mostly). And having short feet, I installed the Clean Speed set-back pedal. Nice bit of kit for us small riders! The BT clutch leaves a little to be desired. I installed a Midwest Mountain Engineering 2-finger lever, that helped. The stock TX BT clutch lever was awful, really hard on my bad, arthritic thumb, and bite point control was difficult in technical stuff. The MME 2 finger lever made a difference. Still love the TX in beast mode, dial a wheelie and say buh-bye! I get my jerseys/pants from Iron Pony! Carry on my man! Braaaap!

Thanks for the TX300 tips! Iron Pony is such a cool store with so many bikes and riding gear/accessories!

Congratulations on your new Beta! I don't have much elevation change on my rides here in Ohio so the stock jetting works great. Let us know how your new Beta works in Idaho!

@@mxengineer1 Will do. I live at 4400’ with hundreds of miles of single track from my house. So far it’s been incredible. Still in break in phase.

Crazy the price differences around the world . The beta is $3200 aus more here in Australia than I paid my new tx300

@@mikeaust80 That’s crazy indeed. The Husky’s and KTMs both are 3k US more than the Beta. I was happy to save the money.

You were nailing those slow twisties on the beta! Did an enduro today on my 2.5hr old 24’ Tx300. Stability over a rough track really helped. Try the black throttle cam to slow the response a little . Engine is an absolute gem Same 4min test loop i ride repeatability my 22’ te250i first lap picked up 12sec of my pb. Apart from some hard enduro obstacles the Tx is just easier to ride !

Great to hear the 24 TX300 is working well for you! Thanks for your insights. What are your thoughts on the '24 TX300 close cartridge spring forks? How do those forks compare to your 22 TE250 open cartridge forks? Also do you feel any chassis difference between the 22 TE250 and the 24 TX300?

Te has a krooztune kit gen2 kit front and rear which was a big improvement over stock. Std 4.4 front springs and 4.2 rear. Really good all round set up Tx 4.6/4.5 springs so sits a little taller riding. Only wound out the clickers. Bigger hits more cushy smaller slower stuff te more cushy The bike is firmer for sure but how much attributes from the chassis / springs I can’t tell. What I can say though: - tx holds a line much better - deep rutted sand the bike tracks where I want to go instead of fighting against it wondering all over the place - tx drives more with the front sticking to the ground - te turns quicker for sure but sometimes too quick

@@mxengineer1 you could try the 2 hour morning race. Even if you only do a lap or 2, it would be cool to see the footage and commentary on how one of the bikes perform during race conditions.

It is amazing how clean and crisp a simple 2-stroke with carb and mechanical power valve can run...Beta Rideability!

Have you tried the optional green powervalve spring they give you? Pull both original springs and try just the green main spring.

Neither my TX300 or 300RE came with optional power valve springs. I did go out 1-turn from the factory PV spring preload on my 300RE and that livens up the throttle response a little.
