Maneuverability is admittedly not the best. Sticking to main roads and scouting out aerial imagery before assuming parking lots are going to work keeps you safe. Some of the autocross sites are bit off the beaten path and have made for some tight squeezes, but where there's a will there's a way!
Going to guess you'll me making some drive shaft parts for the new rig lol. Just subbed to channel. I have a 2013 vw passat sel tdi and unfortunately you don't have any parts for my car on your channel but there's probably some stuff that you could make for my car that are relatively simple upgrades I have only found a few companies that make anything for my car but right now I'm looking for someone that deletes the sub frame mount bushing and just makes a solid mount setup and there's a couple companies but they all name the kit as something different and now I can't find their sites lol. But pretty much when I hit the brakes to come to a dead stop my sub frame and everything stops about a half inch to full inch before the body of my car does and then the opposite when I accelerate. But the OEM replacement through the stealershit/dealershit/dealership is over 2500$ installed and it's a pain to do but the companies that have the solid mount for that problem just uses the chassis stiffener bars to connect the sub frame to the body and I can find the kit for every audi/vw except for mine probably since my car is meant more for the "luxury" stuff and not so much the stiff ride part. Then finding the poly control arm bushings are next since mine are pretty much nonexistent from the movement in the sub frame. I would definitely let you use my car as a test dummy for stuff like that but unfortunately I live in Las Vegas and I'm broke a shit right now and more focused on getting my AC fixed since some dummy decided to run freon with sealant through my ac system so now I only can drive my car at night and I can't stop moving or else it blow out hot air..
Yeah for sure I get it. For something that’s going to see maybe 200k miles in the next 5-10 years maintenance/part cost isn’t as much of a driving factor as if I were an over the road owner operator.
