We have a Dynarex 5lpm O2 concentrator. It is used along with a voltage stablizer. But still..at night after 11-12 ..it sort of stopped concentrating oxygen..pressure ball dropped from 1- 5 to 0 lpm. And the red light indicating Low Pressure and Low Flow started glowing along with alarm. Then i turned it off. Then aftr 5-10minutes i turned it on. It started working again. And then after 10-15minutes..the same problem. What might be the issue???? Please help.
Here are a few possible reasons for the problem you described: 1. Overheating: Oxygen concentrators may have built-in safety features to prevent overheating. If the unit is getting too hot, it might temporarily shut down. Make sure that the concentrator has proper ventilation and is not placed in a confined space. 2. Filter Maintenance: Check if the filters in your oxygen concentrator are clean and not clogged. Dirty filters can affect the performance of the concentrator. Refer to the user manual for instructions on how to clean or replace the filters. 3. Voltage Stability: Even with a voltage stabilizer, fluctuations in power supply can affect the performance of electrical devices. Ensure that the voltage stabilizer is functioning correctly and that there are no power issues in your area. 4. Internal Malfunction: There could be an internal malfunction in the concentrator. If the unit is under warranty, contact the manufacturer or the supplier for assistance. They may provide troubleshooting guidance or arrange for a service technician to inspect and repair the unit. 5. User Error: Ensure that you are using the concentrator according to the manufacturer's instructions. Make sure all connections are secure, and there are no kinks or blockages in the tubing. If the problem persists, contact the manufacturer's customer support or consult with a service professional who can guide you on the appropriate steps to take.

Pulse setting is on demand flow, provides oxygen only during inhalation. Simple way to calculate equivalent LPM is to subtract the pulse setting value by 35%. With this calculation 6 pulse setting would be similar to 3.9 LPM of continuous flow. Hope this helps! We will soon create a video to explain this in more detail.
