Very good video sir, just one thought for food. You are starting the video by saying how much an AC will be used in 48 degrees temperature scenarios. But one should never forget about the environment also. The more there is AC the more heat will mixed in the environment. Its an endless cycle, what one should do to prevent this is also important.

Hi Vineet, I have a very old normal 1.5 Ton AC which I get serviced/cleaned and checked 2 times a year. Recently I changed the service company and the new guy came with water jet cleaning system. It was a bit new for me but visually it cleaned properly. Then I called the previous servicing company to know why they were not using it.He explained that it can easily damage coil and reduce its life of it. To be hones difficult to understand how 5 min water cleaning can reduce life of it. I can understand that too much pressure can damage it but if they are using it regularly they should know what pressure is required. What are your views about cleaning AC with a water pressure jet machine?

Sir u missed 1 imp thing regarding 299₹ extended warranty..If customers take that extended warranty then they have to service their AC twice a year through carrier which will cost around 699+gst per service else their extended warranty will be void

Vineet Ji - Thanks for sharing your expert point of view for the split AC's. Your videos are insightful, practical and therefore useful for the end user. I have just a few suggestions and a few questions: 1. When I downloaded the AC list (pdf) suggested by you, I saw that it had links to purchase. At times these links may expire. It would be nice if you could also add the model number for the AC. 2. Also Do you have some kind of ranking for these AC's. I know it is much more difficult to rank but even a high level ranking like Option 1 (best in terms of value/features), Option 2 (best if price no bar) etc. could be helpful. 3. Finally - is there a reason why you have not included AC brands such as OGeneral? Will you be doing a separate video on premium brands? thanks a tonne :) Sudershan S

Yes if you have low voltage supply you should go with a inverter AC along with a stabilizer. Non inverter AC works on 100% power and if it doesn't get it the compressor trips.

Should I go for Hitachi or Carrier inverter AC? And if carrier then is it necessary to avail yearly service from Carrier only else 5years warranty will laps? I got the Samsung Windfree 1.5 Ton model which comes with 5+10 years warranty and tri care filter. Even though my room is on the top floor with no roof heat shield paint but still the performance is really good as well as it's highly efficient.

Respected Sir, I purchased Panasonic AC model HU18YKYF 1.5 ton 5 star AC in April after watching your video. It was consuming just 3 units maximum when use for 8 hours . But now in May it suddenly started consuming 8-11 units.... Even now I use it for 8 hours and between 24-28 degree as earlier . Registered complaint and technician visited 4 times and every time said AC is fine and it's normal to consume 8 -11 units 😢. I reached Panasonic Branch Manager Manager too... And he also said it's consuming just right electricity.... Please help you are the last hope now... It's been one Month and still it's consuming too much...

I also have the same AC Panasonic HU18YKYF , now in may it's consuming average of 10 units for using 14 hours per day at 28°C. My suggestion to reduce your AC power consumption and Outdoor unit sound, please clean your indoor unit filter, it will form full of dust, if the dust is clogged on the filter then there is no way to pass the air, so AC will take so much time to cool the room thereby power consumption will increase.

@@Boss56641 At how much temperature you uses AC so that it consumes 10 unit's for 14 hours? I did clean filter even cooling coils and outdoor unit but still it was consuming the same... More importantly, is there clean mode in your AC? And does Econavi works like it decrease temperature and move wings according to human detection ? Please do tell if they are working.... I am confused whether it's just me who is facing the problem or if we all are in the same boat...

@@user-jz7zt5jk5i At 28°C and it does have clean mode but i don't know how it works and Econavi working fine but we need to enable it everytime we switch ON the AC. I have received 3 firmware updates upto now. Power consumption is showing fine , but there is a problem with the sleep profile feature In MirAIe app, sometimes it's not activating for a scheduled time and also if it actives, after Switch OFF in the middle of the profile for 1 hr then it wont turn ON for the next Hour that is the issue they should work on to bring a New Update. When it comes to cooling this model outperform every other model in the market.

Hi Vineet. In March i brought Hitachi 1.5 ton window ac non inverter for my room. Sometimes at night the ac compressor stops working and is throwing warm air. Simce this happens not regularly so when Hitachi guys visits, it’s fixed most of the time.

The Energy and efforts being put by you in each video is commendable and your efforts are unmatched. I have a question. I need a split AC in my guest room. Use case - Maximum 15 days run in a year. Is it worth to go for Daikin 5 star? I don't mind putting extra 10K, but does it even makes sense?

Sir i just bought daikin ac that u recommended (FTKM50U) with v guard 90v stabiliser, but it is not cooling the room and its compressor trips everytime, after contacting daikin customer care technician visited and said it is voltage issue in case with 90v v guard stabiliser, pls help sir, should i return it?

Hi Vineet ji, I need your expert opinion regarding 55 inch TV. I am confused between sony X80J, X85J and Samsung Frame 2022 model. My TV viewing area is bright with ample sunlight in front of the TV. Mere pass Lg dual inverter AC hai 2 saal purana , wo abhi cooling de raha hai but pehle jesi achi nahi lg service centre se bulaya 2 baar fir bhi unhone gill temperature se check Kiya 16C mai 12 Tak gaya but muje abhi tak pehle jesi cooling nahi mil Rahi hai 🥺 jo installation pipes pe cover lagye hote hai wo fat Gaye hai usse kuch fark padta hai ?

Hi need help. Ac was in running condition. Only issue was colling issue sometimes during night for few minutes. Raised complaint in carrier. Technican did not visited in 48 hours . He visited on 5th day. In between Ac completely stops working. Issue diagnosed Compressor Jam. Carrier asking for complete amount as it is not in warranty,but when I update it was in running condition. No one helping from last 15 days. Could you please help what to do?

Hi Vineeth . Would you please let me know what ton ac is required for my room? its dimension is Length 4m 15cm, Breadth 3m 18cm. Room has sunlight very often as its on the first floor. I heard Haier (Model HSU13E-TXW5B) gives 10 year warranty on compressor and 5 year on all parts including PCB. would you recommend it?
