I’m so glad I found your channel! Hope you get a lot more subscribers bc your videos are great! I mostly play arena and have only ever drafted in paper bc of how expensive constructed is. Really excited to start getting into paper pauper! My personal favorite archetypes right now in Arena standard are Mardu aristocrats and UW soldier tribal. I’m a relatively new player so I got introduced to the domain mechanic with the dominaria united set this year, and I loved domain in DMU limited. I’d love to see deck techs for those different archetypes in pauper, but honestly just keep doing what you’re doing! Hope you’re having a good day

Thank you so much! 😊 Well you're in luck! There's Caw Gates and Mono White Heroic which are both pretty similar to UW soldiers, and there is a Mardu Synthesizer deck! I've only reviewed the Boros version of the deck. So you can check those out! But yes, paper pauper is worth it and I really appreciate the love and support! Let me know what you end up getting! Great thing is regardless of what you get, if you don't like it, it'd super cheap to get something else!

Nice dice, I also recommend +1/+1 and -1/-1 also colour dices are handy if you play with gates that let you choose a second colour. (Also available in extra large) looking forward to see some PP game play. ( is Spelltable an option?) Edit: Also a quick PSA: Everyone should remember to bring the tokens they need. 😉

I was going to get the counter dice but just haven't yet. The color dice for the gates is actually a super sick idea! I have paper pauper content coming soon. I promise. It's in the works!

Maybe you could spray a sealant of some sort onto the the sticker sheet before removing them to add a bit of resistance? Just a thought. :)

I was thinking about that! But they've adhered nicely. I would definitely put something on them after application though incase the deck box gets wet!

Places like Orlando, Tampa, and Miami are a lot more progressive, but it is what it is. I was born and raised in Colorado, and my wife and I moved down here 2 years ago because HER family retired down here. I don't give a fuck what people think about me or the things I say or wear. But for the record, I am an extremist left. With that being said, I don't wish for my content to stir up any political tension. I would hope we can all get along through the love of MTG! What do you use for counters? I've seen incremental +1/+1 dice, but with some creatures you have to modify by assymetric values (+2/+0) or set to certain values (3/4). And dont forget abilities, like reach, flying etc.

I usually just use the big numeric dice. I have yet to come up with a good option for keyword counters as well. Sorry!

When it comes the the board, it’s 2024, do not buy plastic toys, use papier, which is actually a sustainable material and won’t spoil our planet for next couple of centuries. If you really want something more fancy, go for life tracker that are built on rotating tracks. They are way less space consuming.

@pawelarwa6000 it's one thing to be environmentally conscious about the disposable plastic items you buy, but the creation of plastic toys is never going to go away, and it's significantly worse to sit there and waste paper indefinitely than to just buy a boogie board once. Blowing through paper is literally way worse lol And obviously using your phone is the best and most efficient tool, but if youre at an event all day, that's gonna require you to buy extra chargeable batteries which is also bad for the environment. There's no winning lol

Thank you so much for thsat 💛 Bro that dragons deck turned out to be so mid lmao. After MANY iterations, it just turned into the gruul cascade deck with a splash of blue for adventure dragons lol. Like it's still pretty neat and it's won a few games but it just isn't strong enough sadly

It's worth stating that the Boulders come in (40 and 60 double sleeved) sizes. If single sleeved (dragon shield), the 60 holds a pauper deck, sideboard, and a token or two. They are a bit more compact!

I don't know kids nowadays (boomer talk alert) but i've been playing since '95 and we always keep track of lives in the head. Writing down or the dice method seems like too much work to me for keeping track of a couple of 2 digit number.

Dice method is no good because if the table bumps, whoops! What was it? Lol I think writing it down is crucial for competitive play to make sure both players are 100% in agreement of what the totals are at all times!

What do you use to divide your sideboard inside the deck box?

A different colored sleeve with the decks tokens inside of them. So for example, my mono black deck has a white sleeve with the monarch token in it. And if the deck doesn't have any tokens, I put in a basic land backwards. So my mono blue deck has a white sleeve with the back of a magic card showing, and that is what splits it

Well if I'm correct I think theres only 2 sizes, I have the large one. Small ones go for about $9-12 depending who you get it from, big ones go for roughly $20. I got mine during black Friday so it was like $15!
