Girl I have bought almost everything I need to start doing my own and my family's nails. I watch your videos as much as I can I even rewatch a few of my favs. You're so informative thank you so much Natalie!
Any brush I buy I clean immediately in warm water with just 1 drop of shampoo mixed in usually with the handle. I do it this way as the brush is a natural hair product and then give a couple of rinses with clean cold water. I then reshape it with my fingers and set it aside to dry completely before I use it. Hope this also helps but I definitely have heard of this way cleaning with monomer as well. Just my preference to get rid of the residue with soapy warm water. Love your videos ❤️🇦🇺
You can still get a pretty decent bead with a number 8 but the problem is, that when you're getting the powder with the brush and monomer, you should slightly bounce the brush into the powder instead of dragging the brush into the powder, because when you drag it, you pick up less product, thus getting a smaller, dryer bead. Unless ofc you douse your brush into the monomer, but still, it is always better to slightly bounce your brush with the monomer into the powder to get a more refined and bigger bead. So when you dip your brush into the monomer, slightly dab the brush on the inside of the dappen dish, then when you're going into the powder, do not drag the brush, dab it into the powder two or three times. People also make the mistake of, when they're getting the powder they put the brush into the powder and just leave it there for a few seconds, hoping that the brush and monomer will just soak up a bunch of powder and they can get a bigger bead that way, but doing it like that wont really make much of a difference, thats why the "bouncing technique" is what definitely works best, in my opinion, to get a better, bigger bead no matter what size brush.
I’m an experienced Tech and I still prefer working with a smaller brush, a #10. I also sculpt 95% of my sets, that may be a factor. Alpha brushes are great, thanks for the review.
Thank you so much for that. I learned far more detail from you than I did in my training theory. Appreciate all your videos and the work you put in. You are an amazing teacher.
That's what I'm thinking as well, I'm starting off with the YN nail brush in 8 and I'm finding it harder cause I seem to have to pick up product alot more. I've been studying people with bigger brushes and wanted to try to do the 3 bead method but it doesn't work with a 8 for me.
GIRL GET IT, PROUD TO SEE A YOUNG WOMAN AS A GREAT ENTREPRENEUR!! You are a great nail artist and a good teacher! and you explain everything great! I hope these places your promoting are doing you well > I just ordered an alpha brush just too see the quality of it, im on a mission about 10m brushes now, the best Ive every had is YOUNG NAILS Gregs signature brush, currently out if stock though. Cant wait for my Alpha #8 to arrive(all they had in stock)so I can see its performance!! much love!!
Thnx for the review I recently ordered from Alfas website and bought the oval #8 and a #9 oval and I got the new skinny #8 and was wondering why it was different NOW I know thnx again for the review
"....and I just broke her finger off" 🤣🤣🤣🤣 I tried to do an acrylic set for the first time last night and it was a MESS. I used a brush way too big and....it just wasn't pretty lol. But after filing and everything, I was okay. Thank you for explaining everything 🥰
Brushcleaner and conditioner by Mia Secret is so good! It seems expensive but you use so little, so that really small bottle lasts for a long long time. I would never use anything else.
Hey do yu have any suggestions for a beginner for brushes other than Alpha? Its just i would hate to pay that much money for one brush and then completely ruin it lol 😩
I heard if u dip them back in monomer after soak in acetone that stop the drying and condition them before putting away I’m looking for new brush great video thanks xxxxx
I started off with a #8 and I actually didn’t like it because I did have to go back in with the acrylic to get more and more product. I didn’t like it. I’m really trying to decide if I want to get a 9 or 10.
Can you please review the amazon nail kit I need to see a professional review it because the other people I watched did not do it good at all it they didn’t actually use the kit just showed what was in it
What do suggest every time I place my acrylic bead it blend the top but when I try to fade it down it doesn’t and creates steps 😫 if I do it back wards then the top looks to circle ⭕️ 😭
I have bought 2 brushes now and used your code .. Absolutly Love them got me the 8 first Now the 9 .. Wish they would have had the longer handle 8 then Lol .. may go ahead and get it I Love it for my Swirls and stuff cause its smaller ... & I followed your breaking in & your cleaning methods and don't have any Issues at All !!!!! Love your Videos ... I learned alot from you ... Keep up the Great Work Love !!!!
I haven’t really been feeling the alpha brushes 😣 I just ordered a couple I think the #9& a few design brushes, but the bristles just seem to separate or are uneven idk, .... & I squeezed the metal part to flatten the #9 but it just made a gap in between the bristles 😔😣!! Any suggestions!??

Starr Munni the same thing happened to mine! Idk if i got a defective one or something
Hi there, I'm just getting started in the nail industry and your videos have been so helpful! Just wondering if you'll have another promo code for these brushes? They've gone up significantly :(
idk why but their brushes did not work for me. i even asked for another one to be send out, they did and it still wasnt good. idk what to freaking do. the brushes were great the first couple days then it spreads out
I’ve been having a terrible time with the brushes they keep getting acrylic stuck in them and it’s super super annoying it’s like I can use 1 brush per set before it’s done
Jailene yea it does . I ruined my brushes when i was starting. To avoid it, wipe your brush constantly. Every time my brush comes down, i wipe it. It will make your application so much cleaner as well
hey girl I love ya videos - jus be careful handling products without gloves :( you don't wanna over expose yourself to products & become allergic babe!
Prices also increase as the # brush increases. I work w/sizes 16-22 and they cost me anywhere from $38-$48. I don’t use Alpha brushes but I do use pure kolinsky. Never use synthetic brushes for acrylic. My brushes have lasted me 20+ years🙌🏽. I also only use a brush cleaner I don’t use acetone. But if it works for Natalie then we can’t knock it. Maybe she has good luck with that but I don’t like acetone on my brushes because not only does it mess up the beautiful wood or whatever product the brush is made out of but it can dry out the hair and break it because it is a real horse hair and sometimes other animal here. I hate to say that because I am against animal cruelty but hopefully these are made from leftover fur 🤷🏽♀️
