While trying to find reviews on noise canceling earbuds, nobody actually commented on efficiency difference between them. Finally someone who changed that, thank you.
Hello from Brazil. Props on the video and the amazing chart, pretty straightfoward. How do you think the pamu quiet mini, which is also a hybrid - would rank in that ANC test? I've just heard from two portuguese youtubers that in terms of ANC they'd pick the pamu quiet over the apollo bold but... I don't know.
Yup, I vouch for the Apollo Bold. Great sound, great ANC, has a decent app for EQ and controls, and the chip is one of the best in its class which allows for OTA updates.
I just got the Apollo bold, 1st pair was defective. ANC didn't seem to work and "ambient" was just white noise. Just put my replacements in. Ambient works great. Still not noticing much from the ANC. Where is the EQ app?
Hi folks If I want to wear one during sleeping at home to block the mechanics noise, which should I choose? No music, just let them act like earplugs without "high pitch weird white noise" when ANC is active. Thank you
I've been eyeing the Soundpeats T2 given that I love the brand (I've had 3 of their earbuds in a span of a year) and this video really helped push further my decision to get it 😁
AMAZING! Thank you for the concise review and spreadsheet (OMG I LOVE SPREADSHEETS). Also, thank you for not reviewing the "budget" ear buds that are all over $200 LOL I just used your link to buy the Apollo Bold!
Hi, I am from Singapore, I saw your reviewed, it was excellent! I have a question here. I have narrow down 2 brands of earbud: SoundPeats T2 vs Jabees Firefly 2, between this 2, can advice which is better in term of Mic / Call quality and also Sound Quality. Can advice? Thanks
Whats up my guy? Great video, I actually own or have owned a bunch of these earbuds and I definitely agree with the Apollo Bold and both of the JLabs. The Buds Pro ANC is so-so but make up for it with all the other features it packs. I would include the Soundcore Liberty Air 2 pro because the ANC is strong and has app support, etc.
Bose QC’s, Sennheiser’s, Sony XM3’s, Jabra75t’s, Samsung Galaxy’s ??? I don’t see your opinion anywhere on you channel? I like the way you are testing and your presentation. Really like your opinion on the cream of the crop earbuds !!!
Wow thank you for that vote of confidence. I have the Galaxy Buds Plus, Pro and Jabra 75t's - all would be in my Top 25 MicSeries playlist: ru-vid.com/group/PLHHCoHdEBG00VGbb0T83mQ8byBpDkXu94 Since I buy most of those buds myself, I have been very selective and just haven't ante'd up the coin to buy all of the really expensive buds because I can get so many other $50 buds instead. Let me know what you think of the 3 I mentioned! Welcome to my channel!
I currently have the Earfun Free Pro and TaoTronics 94. The Earfun was so good I decided to return the 1More ANC because they weren't fitting my ears well (especially the right ear). I found the ear sleeves with no earhooks to fit the best but just when they were growing on me a bit, the left earbud started powering on and draining while inside the case. The ANC was decent but tends to smooth out background noise rather than remove it. TaoTronics is decent but the sound is quite warm for my liking. The ANC is a BIT better than the Earfun for commuting but it does a poorer job of removing indoor sounds like my space heater and fans. I prefer the brighter sound of the Earfun though the bass is sometimes too flabby. The only gripes I have with the Earfun is you can't use ambient mode when you only have one bud out, and the ambient mode is rather lacking in volume.
Love these compilation ! Do we get these "Best ANC" every month or Quarterly at least ? I really have no idea every when these company release a new product. I also hope we get a video on est ANC Headphones and when will Taotronics would retaliate against Anker. They dethroned Anker before as the Budget ANC King, now Anker got it back with the Q30. I wish more people would find this gem of a channel.
Hi JonOf Sparta, my headphone collection is so small atm, I couldn't really do a comparison yet, but I do hope to get there someday! And yeah, Taotronics should counter the Q30! I love competition
Well said SoZen my credit cards have finally recovered from the holiday season, so I'm back like an addict fresh out of rehab! I've seen others say it to. Apollo Bold just didn't fit my ears. Without a good fit that stays put, noise isolation and cancellation are both compromised. I sent them back to Amazon. 2020 was full of huge advances in true wireless earbuds. We saw new technology, and then the prices dropped to make it affordable. I can't wait to hear what 2021 holds for us. I did get my special edition kickstarter soundpeats, and would you believe I haven't even taken them out of the box yet? I hope you and your family are doing well. 50th COMMENT!!!!
Thank you for that information post. Once an earbud frisbee for your ears, yeah, they will not perform in bass or anc. Glad your cc are recovered. Çuz, the, 2021 should bring great tech and sound and value to us music lovers
I need help. I am autistic and I like the control with ambiance sound. Like 0-10 Type control. But with true sound canceling. I’ve tried the Sony XM4 and it doesn’t quiet down the sound of voices and sound canceling isn’t true sound canceling. I also tired a JBL but it was only 3 choices. Sound canceling, ambient, and off. I just don’t want to be over stimulated anymore. 😢
Idk much about those Skullcandy, but to cost double the t2 or earfun, they have to do something more special than their specs show. I'd stick with the t2 for better anc or the Earfun if anc isn't that important to you, Dany.
@@SoZenGadgets now in Costco with a member discount they are at the same price as the earfun free pro and soundpeats t2, that is why I am wondering which one to choose. Thanks a lot for ur reply!
@@SoZenGadgets hahaha well, I guess it would be good material to make a review about them. Just let me know if they are worth buying once you test them :) cheers
Hi Amit, I've not tried the Sony's so I hesitate to compare anything to them, but for this test, the Galaxy Buds Pro or the Jabra's probably would be the direct competitors.
I'd stick with galaxy buds plus or even these pros. But you can here all my ranks here MicSeries - RANKED!! True Wireless Earbuds Microphone Quality!: ru-vid.com/group/PLHHCoHdEBG00VGbb0T83mQ8byBpDkXu94
i am in the market for my first pair of ear buds comming of an Plantronics Legend 5200 Multipoint ( phone, PC, Tablet )is my main thing and outside all weather second. if i can wear them inside a 3/4 motor helmet is a plus. what do you advice i look at. i make allot of calls and make allot of video meetings
Rob,, it's probably best to ask a motorcycle group your question. Wind is particularly challenging for Microphones and there are very few multipoint tws to begin with. But someone who's riding often would know better than I.
I was about to ask the same. Maybe they weren't available during this comparison. Hope you can do a separate unboxing and comparison now that they are out.
i just bought the so called "number one pic" and it's bin the worst TWS i own. i should have read between the lines . When you don't complain about deep fitting buds it basically means they sit so shallow they might as well lay on top of your ears. And before you say it.. i have tried all the tips and even one comply foam i had laying around. The TronSmart Apollo Bold can't have good ANC they sit so shallow in the ears it's not fun anymore.. I basically wasted $90 i bought them from their Aliexpress store something i can't advise either because you don't get the right to return them free of charge and support will ask you to film the anc not working good luck with that.
Unfortunately nowadays I feel the same with many "buds". Even those that have an in-ear design tend to just outside the canal and lead to poor fit, like the Sabbat E12 and 1More ANC. I'm guessing there's too much lobbying for "I hate things shoved into my ears", which is silly given non-in-ear designs exist. Only the Earfun Free Pro stay in my ears well but the earhooks get loose quickly and their eartips are terrible quality. Can't speak for the Apollo Bold, but last time I had an issue with one of their other products, Tronsmart would be willing to ship them back via Aliexpress. I just didn't bother with it because it would be another 3 weeks to ship it back and 3 weeks to get a replacement. Meanwhile other companies are willing to send replacements like candy and spam me with gift card bribes for good reviews. It's shady but at least it shows they care about their reputation while big names like Samsung and their fanboys just give out brain-dead responses like "do a factory reset! you have a defect! get a replacement!" Speaking of Galaxy Buds Pro, no reviewer or user has addressed to me whether they are good for use on Windows 10 with the SBC codec. Before then Samsung kept putting a low bitrate (bitpool 37) in the SBC codec and it sounds terrible. Most mobile devices can support AAC so many users don't notice it in their daily usage but I don't get why reviewers are so reluctant/don't comment on using Bluetooth devices with Windows 10.
I love your videos but the (way to loud) background music is annoying. Sorry but true. Your videos would be much better without any music. Thank you. ❤️
@@SoZenGadgets thank you for responding. It was the 1st time I've noticed the music so much. No headphones. I was streaming the video via Chromecast to my TV. Maybe the TV speakers aren't the best. 🤔
@@norissima95 I definitely upped the volume on my background music on my last two vids. Thanks for your feedback - it'll be better balanced next video!
46% what? Anc strength is relative to the wearer's ability to get a proper fit and seal from the buds. I compared ANC and in my opinion they gave the strongest anc.
oh man Peter - i almost wish you hadn't asked me that! Those look like ... the future. 2 BA and 1 DD?! My biggest hesitation is that the last KZ buds i tried had horrible, unrecommendable bluetooth (but i got them from indegogo, so maybe they were bad). I will check them out and see if I can make it work.
Not a Hater but a critical consumer that actually bought the "The TronSmart Apollo Bold" and i don't like that he did not mention how shallow they sit in the ear. or to put it in a different way they are pretty picky with ear fit so good luck getting a seal and if you do, you are one of the lucky one.. they don't even block out a simple vacuum cleaner. total waist of money. So i don't agree and don't like he did not mention an important factor.. if that makes me a hater so be it.. good to meet you .. i'm the hater.
@@samdeur I understand your frustration with a certain product, and I suspect you might be right about that. However why “kill the messenger”? You could specify your reservations about the Apollo Bold-which you did very well according to YOUR experience, but without damaging the algorithm of this channel. It’s not that anyone’s making a killing presenting an opinion different than yours. Respectfully..
@@Eged282 i agree i'm not killing the channel or algorithm in fact our interaction is helping this channel. and my disliking this vid has nothing to do with the my disappointing experience with the product he claims to be good. What i said was i don't like that he did not mention the shallow fit or as he likes to say (also a bit vage) lack of ear inclusion or something like that eng is not my native language haha.. but i watched all his vids and on 99% he gets a big thumbs up from me. But being subscribed for years i do expect more and more from him the bar is set high for such a pro. and in my book this time he failed to mention important things about the Tronsmart.
@@Eged282 Well I'm a bit baffled why the 1More is high on the list when he mentions overall how he is rather disappointed with it, not to mention I share much of the same sentiments and returned them over the poor fit and lackluster ANC compared to the value I was getting from the Earfun Free Pro. I also place the Earfun higher than the TaoTronics 94, but he kinda lumped the TaoTronics with the TOZO and MPOW X5. Not sure if the MPOW sounds any different but the TOZO is said to have brighter treble.
