Honda should make a 500 rally using the motor from the cbr-f-x into a crf 450 frame. 🤙

I think it's irresponsible to say that the KTM 890 is the best, the reliability is a complete joke. Thanks for the video tho! Same for the KTM 390 :)

I think I will stick with my Versys X300. Inexpensive, easily tops 75mph and gets 60+mpg.

Honda just needs to take the 300 motor, and slap it in the 450L chassis. Put in an oversize tank and the quest for the unicorn is more or less over.

I had half the money I needed, second half granted by the bank and the unsigned purchase contract for a brand new KTM 790 adventure on my dining table. But then someone had the audacity to sell a 2008 bmw f800gs, mint, low mileage for just that money. It almost matches the spec sheet of a t7, just 4 pounds heavier, 10hp and 100 cc more. No brainer.

I'm in love with the Honda CRF300 Rally. It's perfect for me after some ugrades and customizing for my needs. I have 1500 miles on mine now and can say with confidence I have found my unicorn.

Looks like you forgot to include the king of ADV bikes the DR 650. It will destroy any of the bikes in your test off road and still does ok on the street.

I totally agree with your comments about the 300 rally but if I were going around the world it would be the T7 not the 890. Like the video's.

I went from a DR200 to a KLR. It really limited the places I can go offroad, and feels like a lot more of a hassle to take out, so I never take it anywhere.

I've had a Himalayan for about 4 years and this year I upgraded to a KLR650. Both bikes are great and inexpensive.

best bike for world tour is tenere 700 for simplicity and reability almost everywhere in the world. if you don't plant to make a world tour just week end with friends some off road events and road trip not too far from the civilisation the ktm 790/890 adventure R is the best choise for sure.

The price of the KLR is enough for many of us to make the difference between having just an ADV bike, and actually going places on our ADV bike!

While I ended up with an 890 R and it is undoubtedly the best in class, I had been searching for/waiting for a Tenere 700 for more than a year prior to purchasing the 890. In the end I am very pleased with my purchase but I think I would have beeb happy with the T7 as well.
