Hey guys! Just adding a couple points I totally forgot to mention in the video. Dark Illusions sell these harnesses for $135, a solid option if you consider what Low Range sells their harnesses for. You can also swap your factory elocker harness with this to eliminate the locker ECM, bypassing it's restrictions, and making the locker work no matter what your t-case position is. Dark Illusions also offers custom switch faceplates! Thank you for watching everyone.
@@DirtGarage me to. Mostly because of my work schedule. With the new job it should be easier. Been with him since he was just triple digits subscribers. LOL
Please enter me for a locker harness. Couldn’t happen at a better time for me I have an 84 Toyota Pickup Diesel 2L 4x4 getting ready to put in an e locker from a 04 Tacoma been watching videos on how to is all now. Hook me up
Home made is nice! Super easy. This is just for the people who either are afraid of wiring, or don't want to waste their time wiring when they can just buy a harness. Personally I'm cheap, naturally I will always go to the DIY method.
Looks like an easy install! I drive a 86 Toyota Pickup, stock except Old Man Emu suspension and a homemade flatbed. I have a complete Tacoma e-locker rear axle to swap in the rear, just need bearings, brakes, and a harness! Blueyota86 is the name!
10k! 89 4Runner, sas, dual cases, 5.29s, 3.4L swapped , 35” krawlers and a bunch of custom armor. I have two E-locker housings I am planning to swap and move to 37” mud terrains. Love the look of the 37” tires on the trucks on your channel.
Very nice! Yeah we pretty much all run 37s nowadays. They are just a perfect size for all year wheeling, little to big for summer, little to small for winter. But right in the middle.
And I got excited when I hit 50 subscribers haha, great content man love the positive energy on all vids! And of course the Yota content! 🤙🏽 my Yota build is a 84 Toyota 2rz swapped yota.
I have to remove my rear carriage anyways to fix the leak in my 90s 4runner and this gave me the idea of just installing a locker while its out, i like how much thought you put into the details of some of these videos, love to join you on one of your adventures sometime🤟
I really like my lunchbox locker in my rear. Its a Lock Right. Super easy to install, reliable, and doesn't scrub down tires on the street like a welded diff or spool. However on the front I would not run it, way to hard to turn on trail, and is just going to cause excessive wear on front end components. Selectable front is ideal, but 100% recommend lunchbox rear, not worth spending the money on air or e-lockers.
Awesome that this channel is finally growing! I have been very grateful for your build videos and all the inspiration you have given me, congrats on the 10,000! So my rigs are a 2000 V6 4runner, custom 4"lift 285-75-16"s iron man mud terrains, 488 gears, winch bumper and rear e-locker, I also just got a 2003 Tacoma V6 double cab that I've installed a 3" lift with 33-12.50-R17 mud terrains, and 488 gears with a rear e-locker.
Congrats on the 10k! Favorite video was the E locker swap video, was the only actual step by step video i saw to do it. I drive an 85 Toyota pickup on 40s a 91 Toyota Land Cruiser with a manual 1HD-T. @wheelin_steph

Great video glad to see some info on Toyota E lockers. Love learning with you and not just getting videos that give a perfect scenario or tragic clickbate videos. Got an old 1st gen 4Runner getting ready for an e locker thanks to your help I’ll be starting on a harness soon. Glad to see you doing well with your channel. @gnarbear88

Hey man, congrats on 10,000!!! I’ve been around for a while and I’m so happy you’ve made it! I’ve got an 89 4Runner that I’ve got an e-locker for, but I haven’t been able to install it because the ring and pinion are shot. But soon I hope! Having this harness would help get it installed so much sooner! Keep up the amazing content, next stop 100k! @ehrlich3399 on Instagram
Congrats on 10k! I really enjoy watching your videos. I have a 90 Toyota truck with a 5 inch lift on 33 inch tires. Your videos about the differentials really helped me out. I recently swapped my gearing from the 4.10 to the 4.56 and also added that lift/tires. Instagram is Supreme_anotherday
