Man you uploaded this at the right time. I’ve been thinking about how I can go cheap on a pole anchor for my boat, cause I’m gonna be redesigning it from the ground up and may be getting rid of my trolling motor. Didn’t want to spend the ridiculous money on one that says “Power Pole”. Thanks!

3:30 bless you. Always good to watch your videos. Good job, very informative. Just a suggestion, I would drill a hole in the handle and the stainless point, putting a stainless pin thru it to make sure the jb weld didn't turn loose. Just a suggestion
Yeah, I agree with you. I will probably put a screw through the handle, and then pin the rest of the JB welded joints. I will leave the standard 8' pole alone and see how long it last with out pinning the handle or tip. (@3:30-thank you) haha
Very good point S C. I do use the rings with 550 cord most of the time, but if I'm in calmer water and just want to stop real quick I do use the handles in the back. Makes it quick and easy!
Great. I absolutely love them. They are a game changer in shallow water. No soaking wet rope, chain, or mud to be dragged in the boat and they move with the current/waves so there's no jerking motion. I really enjoy them
I would think so. Just order the two 8 ft poles and the end adapters for it and it'll work. You could break it down into the two 8 feet pieces and screw on a tip on both of them so you could have two eight footers in shallow water
