Brother , I joined your Discord server and also the Course , but please tell me how did you build the Ghibli Studio so accurately ? I am waiting for your reply .
What program do you use to create an AI video? I can't find one to make short videos or for RU-vid shorts I have plenty of scripts any help I would be most grateful me and my oldest daughter are trying to build a channel from nothing into something.
Ai is so lifeless, boring, same-y and it's plain theft. Let's hope this trend ends soon or at least regulations are put in place. Can't stand how bad it feels and how much it lacks human emotion
Human emotion is incredibly arbitrary and subjective. You are not the judge here. Ai will eventually be indistinguishable. Who the hell cares if ai doesn’t feel human at the present moment. At the most 30-50 years ai will be indistinguishable from humans. At the very least 5-10 years.
This is disgusting, and the generated animations look stiff and artificial. If your "Step 1" is asking ChatGPT to come up with an idea, you're already starting off on the wrong foot. Anyone can see the flaws in this false "animation", and the AI-generated voiceover just makes it worse.
Neat guide. I know a lot of artist who are demotivated by AI and I want to say some stuff for any any artist or animators stumbling onto this; AI will not replace you. Its not a good enough tool in itself to pull off true fidelity of either medium without the knowledge and workings of an artist. The landscape, of AI transforms it, will just be artist using AI as part of their workflow, whether that be reference, touch up, etc. AI has severe limitations to its workflow (especially with diffusion based models that only work off data sets) that prevent it from reaching the level we expect out of any art. Honestly, and not to put down this guide, theres no better proof than videos like this. There's very obvious limits hit on all this technology, and even the best of efforts always come out best when an artist of some sort is running the project.
@@promptjungle yeah, I see so many people demotivated by AI and I feel alot of it is born from ignorance and fear rather than familiarity. Messing around with AI tools has I feel is the best way to understand it. Keep up the video work!
@@Mincheesy I do not agree at all mate, yes AI can be a usefull tool, but even with AI as a tool, seeing the way it is taking it will eliminate lots of people in the production pipelines, teams will be smaller, there'll be less demand, less jobs and people in the future will have fewer reasons to learn how to make art. And yes we're not there yet but remember we did not even have computers a few decades ago. And that video seems to encourage people to fully rely on AI and it's just so sad. Plus the video mentionned making money with it and that's so damn lame.
@@SimFiftyFifty Ah, fairly, I do not think using the current AI algorithms as a means to make money is ethical, really just because most people are using models (whether text, voice, art, etc) that are using data from artist who did not consent to its use in them and these models REQUIRE this data to exist. It's already hard enough getting compensated for work on larger projects and a lot of artist live in the shadows of works they contribute to, to the point there are AAA games with entire studios that practically go unmentioned. So I agree that I don't condone the messaging of this video when implies using it for making money. There is currently a feedback form going on right now in US copyright you could fill out to submit your opinion as well, which could help shift the law to not allow these things for copyright. I simply find the exploration of emerging technology interesting and seeing how people are applying and using it over time. That being said, I do not agree AI will eliminate lots of people in the production pipeline; Atleast not current AI, and I do not believe that current AI will be overtaken by a new form of AI. AI just doesn't understand what it is doing, and that is its ultimate downfall. If you replace even a concept artist with someone who just knows AI, there is a load of information and skill that you are losing from doing this, and the product you get will take a massive hit. There will be people who attempt to use AI to fill the pipeline for cheap, and there are people who already have, but all these projects are incredibly mediocre. I do not see videos like this as a threat since, again, as an artist you can do all this stuff and make an immensely better piece of work than 99% of the people who will watch this, and also this is A LOT of work effectively to make something that still falls apart in many aspects. The best I've seen are supplemental uses, and I believe things will only get as bad as that just based off how the technology works, but fairly, I get your worry, and only time can tell ultimately. But I believe in artist, and from physical to digital mediums, 3D workflows, to bashing, artist persevere and adapt pretty well.
@@Mincheesy Your opinion is interesting, we do agree on the copyright issue but for the lowering demand i think there is no other way, even without ai humans are just always trying to go faster and cheaper, look at the difference between production tools now and back in 20th century even if we talk just about animation, the problem is when do we stop ? Or is there only one direction to go ? I do think that giant industries will always have some amount of money to spend on artists etc but all the smaller groups, individuals etc who had no other way will now have another way, or at least very soon. And again Midjourney for example is born in july 2022 do i don't think we can picture how freakin fast these things are going to grow... i still try to stay optimistic but this is really concerning and we do need people to be concerned to delimit that stuff right.
why even learn anything, right? why bother developing a skill? who cares about hard work and the satisfaction associted with it... Lets just become prompt machines, and leave the human creativity to the machines.
You looking at it in the wrong way. "We shouldn't use the cameras because the painters will loose their jobs" its just a tool. That will make things easier and take less time. But I understand your point too.
@@promptjungleLazy excuse, as if paintings didnt have genres and styles other than hyperrealism... Now people are prompting trying to imitate still living human styles... Or you're saying that Dali actually propped a bunch of melting clocks, and long legged elephants in real life just to copy them exacly?
funny. Does car is an insult to horse? Does plane is an insult to a bird? People just got butthurt that this piece of technology are actually better at art , lol. Embrace technology
This sucks. Instead of artist handmaking animation or film, the future will just be exsiting styles ripped off in some basterdized regurgitation of what other hard working artists have made. Is this really what we want? Endless content with no soul and only minor human participation
Coool I guess, but I prefer real skills ⭐ these could be used as little helps in some areas of animation certainly, but I will always prefer the art and skills over anything artificial
I think human made illustrations and animations will be something luxurious in the far future, as no one would care to learn how to paint and lesser true artists with talents. The rarer, the more expensive it is. The problem is that… Who would still need “drawings” or man-made animations in that era? Money laundering or something maybe?
I’m an artist and this AI art trend is so depressing to me, I feel exhausted, you can’t imagine what it’s like to spend HOURS to draw a pic knowing AI can do this in few seconds, and it may turn out even better than yours lmao. I lose motivation so easily because of this. I’ve been drawing since I was like 5 and it still brings me joy, I’ve always wanted to work as an artist but now I think I’ll give it up and choose something else
@@МиланаВекслер hey. As an independent animator who's been working on a 2 minutes animation for the this entire year, I feel that. I would never call myself a wise person, but all the parts of my being strongly thinks that you should NOT give up. If making art is what makes you happy, then do it. Be the resistance and keep putting human effort and soul on your work, I myself won't ever surrender to A.I when it comes to art. I still have this idea and desire to make bigger projects and paying actual artist to work on, and I don't care if I will be the only one doing this.
Because ai is the future. I work in animation. Our studio will be utilising ai when it’s made further improvements. Ai is making it easy for anyone to tell stories with minimal technical skills. What a time to be alive.
correct but this is just for people who want to know what possible right now. tomorrow will be somthing else, and the day after it might take on prompt.
@@domehouse79this will never be the future, because normies doesnt know what to do they just accept what ai drops like monkey. this is not in their control they just mix like monkeys, artist dont do that they control the procress, so no, its not the future
But everyone is not like you bro some people don't have the needs to do this kind of things but still they are trying to do something you know what i mean
what a difficult time..i want to learn animation but still waiting, thinking that after i learn it there will be some ai tool that can create in seconds😢
Might as well try to actually draw or learn 3D animation cause this is way too complicated for a below avg animation which will be heavily criticised due to its imperfections and uncanniness. I know in 2 or 3 years ai animation would be actually worth using but right now its just not it
@@SpigazuIt's the sense of actual human accomplishment and the journey that it took to get there. That's where the joy comes from in the end. You won't ever look back on an AI generated image years later and think "I'm proud of that work".
@@shad0s479that’s not true at all. Every software takes things that used to be manual and makes them automatic. Do you lose joy in creating on a computer with art software instead of painstakingly coding the image in binary? Do you lose joy in using software tools instead of coding each tool yourself? Do you lose joy in using a level designer in a video game instead of creating each enemy and texture yourself? All it does is move the level of creativity to a higher level of complexity. Have you ever lucid dreamed? In lucid dreams you can make things instantaneously materialize. And lucid dreaming still kicks ass. Basically makes use of the “ai” that already exists in your brain as the creative software. When I started animating I did it on paper by hand. I didn’t lose joy by switching to digital animation.
@@shad0s479DUMBASS. You don't need to say it. It's not necessary when it's easy. Who cares when there is no effort? There is no such thing as "journey" in real life.
Ngl this is so pretty and actually looks beautiful. But i feel like my whole life is meaningless now that ai is replacing the only thing i can do. Lol i literally spent my 10 years drawing. I kinda imagined my future drawing day n night until i burn out n do it everyday. But at least i would feel motivated. N now i feel like the best job i can land is proly cashier at McDonald's or smth lmao. Im literally embodiment of a joke lollollol
Don’t be discouraged, remember that everyone that uses ai generators or such, will never experience the joy of actually create something, it is just a shortcut for laziness.
@@Late-cakeall these ai gimmicks are just money grabbing schemes you know where the real money is the videos that say earn money within ai those videos are the space one earns money not the act they teach but teachers who preaches this earns
Pika, do you think it's possible to invite your bot to one of our channels on Discord? 😊 We would love to promote it further within our community and subscribers. My birthday is next week, so a "code grant" would be an awesome present 😅
Ideally I would like to make an animatic with the main frames myself (for more artistic control over the scene) but use AI to handle the in-betweening, lip movements and maybe coloring. I am not sure if that's possible now. The closest I can think of are some Cacani fanctions. Ai seems a bit unreliable for now, but the progress in these last years has been insane.
ToonCrafter is an open source ai project that you provide an input and output image and it interpolates between them(with ai predictions of physics and other common tedious animations).
This is an insult to real animators who actually put effort into animating frame by frame every single second on screen is a frame painstakingly drawn by hand. But ai just throws that away. Not to mention it just looks unsettlingand unnatrual
A Tip for anyone that uses LALAMU to create the facial animations if you export a cropped version of your video containing just the face you can maximize the resolution output and then just composite the new face over the original footage.
@@promptjungle My brother , Plz tell me what command did you gave to chatgpt that he gave so correct image prompts of studio ghibli animation from your story .
I didn't really read the title and was about to say, how come these animations looked like they took Ghibli elements... then it hit me, "Ghibli Studio Inspired". It makes me wonder what Miyazaki says about this
This is Miyasaki's actual comment on AI “I am utterly disgusted. If you really want to make creepy stuff, you can go ahead and do it,” says the 81-year-old director. “I would never wish to incorporate this technology into my work at all. … I strongly feel that this is an insult to life itself.” “I feel like we are nearing the end of times," he continues. "We humans are losing faith in ourselves.”
No one that aim to do any kind of quality animation would do that. It’s just cheap stuff, I mean it might be technically impressive but it’s still ugly af lol
From my experience, what all image generation AI lacks at the moment for one to be able to make artistically meaningful stuff from start to finish is to be able to use a prompt to describe a general style or rule book to be used persistently across a series of images, that also uses character descriptions to create a set of persistent characters or other details such as locations, to be used whenever they are required and in any context. Generally, to have some persistency options between generations. For now, even using same style or other descriptors, images tend to come out unevenly, and with little consistency. Correct me if I'm wrong.
Seems to be true although I'm pretty sure people can do it when they have the image gen software locally on their computer with a fixed set of images it's trained on. It seems like once this problem is taken care of the number of self-produced stories with images (video and comic stories) will skyrocket.
Yeah that's the issue But you can training your own model ai With data set(the image style you want) Its perfect? No ofc But atleast you can get bettee consistent style
I prefer ai does not get better because the actual animators and artist worked really hard on their works and the fact that this is happening is not making anything better.
It was difficult enough to get into the industry already. Because there are MANY artists and animators who draw great and it is difficult to have an opportunity to enter the industry. I have a friend that is studing animation in a university, he leaved twitter because of Elon Musk wanting to change the terms of use in the app so he can use all the art uploated there for iA trainign. Think that the career you are studying could be the next job that becomes obsolete sounds scary. But it does not will happend, Let's hope that in the worst case it will only be more difficult to enter the industry if you are new

Do you genuinely not see the benefit of using AI for animation? Me, someone with no animation experience whatsoever, can animate a short story in less than a weekend by using AI. This will allow people to create fast and reactive content QUICKLY. Let me give an example of Helldivers 2, the really popular game that blew up recently. I would LOVE an animated tv show about that game where every week theres a new episode that comes out BASED ON if people failed or succeeded the major order for that week. i hate the fact that you're doing a ghibli inspired animation even tho people at ghibli would be against the use of ai in art. but i'm not worried for us artists cause the quality of the end product is very bad. and i don't see how this would be useful for us, also. cause working with an ugly starting picture makes things harder than working by yourself from the begining. having to correct mistakes made by a human is already difficult, but mistakes made by a machine that makes no sense at all ??? seems harder and reeeallly annoying. (i say that as an animation director in a small studio) to me it's a waste of time to use it like this. for others applications it could be useful tho, i'm not against the technology as a whole ! but creating animation from scratch with an ai seems useless from a professionnal point of view.
Not the Ai itself but the fact that some of the datasets used have stolen art and the artist hard work just gets taken and used for profit, that’s what scares me

I would like to see a tutorial on this
1- this looks terrible and it only works for "moving holds" at best. Like a gentle wind or someone slightly moving their heads. 2- why would you make it at 60 fps if you want to make it look like ghibli? They animate at 24 fps on 2s so more like 12 fps in general.

One of the biggest difference (in my opinion) between artists and someone who pretend to be artist - by using prompts in AI, its the need to create. Artists just love to create. 100% they work belongs to them. From white paper, to something that actually lives. When you create something by AI, its not yours, its belongs to algorithm. Every time artist (writer, illustrator, graphic designer, draftsman etc.) create a character, he knows everything about this character - who was he’s parents? How he’s childhood looks like? it is a nervous person or calm? Just everything. Characters created by artists, are they babies, so artist move to them, a part of they heart. Thanks that, characters maded by them look so realistic and have natural look and behavior. Ai can be usefull in animation (like rigging and animating crowd, copy poses from someone records), but it should NEVER be use to create something from begging - characters, words, animals - this is a work for HUMAN with imagination (most of those, who want to create something by AI, haven’t got imagination, and this is sad).
I disagree. I view Ai as a tool, especially with how poor most animated movies are rn, ai opens the playing field for those with an idea to be able to make it
When I found "Pika" I immediatly went ahead and tried the same thing, I was so surprised with the quality. Honestly just a bit more refinment 1-2 years and were done it seems, impossible to tell the difference and I love it So much fun to make Must be super frithening for some artist omg

This is probably better than the animated fantasy art that is at the end of every HFM Coub video (example: ru-vid.comUgkxIuTFUfh43zX3JYaLHcnA8RJ2zxIXTAqX?si=ND5UGiKHkWkRdtTt ), but it is clearly different.
