I love Alexandria and DUA clones. I also like Alexandria's solid fragrances which I like to use when I go to bed. I especially like that they tend to perform a lot better than the original upon which they are based.

Stephen, I recently received a travel-sized decant of Africano. It was an instant winner for me with it's beautiful, gently wafting aroma that really has held up nicely in the intense southern summer heat and humidity. This is full-bottle worthy for sure!!!

My 2 favorites from Alexandria are Apple Crumb & the original blend Hafez Exclusive. They have some nice ones but I think Dua creates longer lasting fragrances and new releases almost weekly.

Oh man the intro. Appreciate the Alexandria list. Dirty Orange and Boschetti are my jam among others and some more others. Great advice regarding these - have smelled em all.

Alexandria's Sunday Morning is an absolutely amazing freshy from start to finish. Pretty long lasting, and better sillage than most of the Alexandria freshies. You'll definitely smell it in a room when you leave for a bit and return Boschetti Della Costa is great once the petitgrain dies down a bit (maybe 5-10 mins in). The dry down is fantastic. I prefer this one to Sunday Morning, but it's not quite as mass appealing, though I doubt it would be actually disliked by anyone. Can't really speak to the sillage on this one. Feels a bit less projecting.

I love a lot from Alexandria. Sunday morning, crystal peak and others are great. Alexandria Port is also awesome. Well worth checking those out. I’m also a fan of Dirty Orange. Great video

I get that this brand makes close to the OG scent of the original frag.. but you need to do a video (and pardon me if it already exists) on which brand has better longevity and projection between the same frags between Alexandria Fragrances and DUA Fragrances... that's the main issue at hand.. yes we have established they are both close to the OG frags but who wears the longevity and projection crown ?? I understand you may not want to ruffle any feathers but honestly it a MAJOR ISSUE TO ADDRESS... thanks bro

Your Alexandria reviews are terrific and appreciated, having introduced me to the house. My summer favorites from this house are: Zion, Deep Blue (MFK Aqua Celestia), and Hawaii Volcano (Creed Virgin Island Water). Zion seems to have more of a Bleu de Chanel vibe (with the grapefruit) and not so much of an Aventus vibe, in my view. Dua's Supernova leans more towards Aventus. Both are great. Aqua Celestia does not get enough attention, so Deep Blue should be on the lists of all who are fans of MFK and who like lime and mint. Looking forward to Boschetti de la Costa.

I have four, Himalaya Mountains (Creed Himalaya), La Dolce Vita (D&G PH vintage), ETE Sauvage (Dior Sauvage EDP) and Homme Classique (YSL L'Homme vintage). Love all of them, great performers and they all smell really nice. Would be interesting to see how close Invidia is to Gucci Envy.

MrSmelly! Alexandria sent me 2 small samples of 2 fragrances that aren't on their website yet. Dirty Neroli, which seems to be their Tom Ford Neroli Portofino, although Alexandria Port achieves this too, and Cachemire Lovers, which is Diors Cachemire. Have they given you a try at these yet? I emailed them about a release date and I'm waiting on their reply. Exciting stuff!

I have to warn people about Alexandria Fragrances. They sent me four samples, all weak smelling, the fragrance disappeared in 15 minutes - these were The Irish Gentleman, Anubis Kiss, Golden Rush and Hafez 1984.. DO NOT BUY. Their response to me was they have a successful business 🙃 I would point out that it depends what the aim is. If it is to sell crap for a few years and make millions in the process then perhaps they have a great business model.

Hey thanks for the review. How come Casanova didn't make the list? Roja Mid Summer dream. You have great thing to say about it last month. Was thinking about buying it but now it doesn't make your top list so makes me wonder???

Casanova is 100 per cent brilliant. And it will be fantastic in summer. I just felt it is not so obviously a “summer” or “fresh“ scent as some of the others. It is easily as good as any in this list. Perhaps I should have included it.
