Hi could you please wear Airpods Pro 1/2 with ANC on and above that wear Sony xm4/xm5 with ANC on. What’s the final ANC and comfort results without turning on any music? Just curious if I can comfortably block out all noises somehow for eternal peace while doing my work at home. Please check out and let me know. Thanks.
XM5 should provide even better noise cancelling. New drivers should provide improved treble quality. And new microphonea array should result in better call quality as well. But the frame is not foldable anymore - so, much larger case - and XM5 are more expensive (especially, considering XM4 discounted prices).
@@NickBorodenko I've never had a headphone before so I went with the XM5 and so far it's good. It has better mic quality and the noise cancelling is really good. I've got my sister's XM4 to compare. I'm actually not bothered by the fact that the XM5 doesn't fold anymore as the case can still fit in my bag with no issues. One thing I don't like about the XM5 right now is that there is no option to adjust the noise cancelling. I hope Sony will update the app soon to have this feature. But overall I'm happy with my XM5.
Thank you for sharing and congratulations on your new headphones! Active noice cancelling is a real game changer. Didn't know, that XM5 do not allow NC adjustments right now - and that's weird. I assume, that Sony will address this in the nearest future. XM4 had multiple software updates, so I don't think XM5 will be different.
