How I make my garbage Too Faced Eyeshadow palettes work with synthetic brushes: to apply mattes in the crease, I use small circular motions off the bat [with a tapered precise crease brush that isnt pointy], I use no tapping or swiping back and forth.Then I make the circular motions sighly larger over the same area until it looks blended. Only after the whole eye contour looks almost perfect will I do anything but circular motions and short swipes in one direction. For the shimmers, always spray the brush. Just wanted to share how to make not-so-great eyeshadows blend quickly, and smoothly. Ive seen people use a wet base and then with tapping motions do the whole gradient going dark-to-light, and then proceed to blending motions.. but I got no time for that XD Its expert level application for dramatic looks.

ND My Dream is kind of boring. I use it mostly as a companion palette. I find it easy to use for daytime looks though; all I need is a color slightly darker than my skintone to create a soft socket contour and outer v, and jet black eyeliner on the lashline. Plenty of darker matte colors in there. It's easy to do various smoky eye variations with it too. Many rich, velvety colors. The shimmer shades take a backseat to the mattes, which is fine with me (hooded eyes), but you can wear all the beautiful mettalic and shimmer shades, you've got the lid space, so I can see how the color/finish choices of those were disappointing.
