Let's chat about mascara.
Hello everyone! In this video, I have compiled and ranked five different high end and luxury mascaras. Of course, everyone's lashes are unique and react differently, so please take my experience with a huge grain of salt! I have very sensitive eyes, so I am pretty picky when it comes to mascara.
For reference, I would normally curl my lashes before applying mascara, but I did not curl my lashes before each application here as I wanted you to see how the mascara performs on natural, uncurled lashes. :)

Wow! Thank you for your review of these! I'm glad I haven't tried the Chantecaille one yet, and I'm not going to now, haha! I haven't tried any of these, but that YSL one has me intrigued, and of course the Sisley! You look so gorgeous in this video, your hair is stunning and I love that bright pink top! Beautiful! 😍

Thank you so much for your sweet comment! I was kicking myself for buying that Chantecaille mascara after first using it. I waited it out hoping it would get better, but I found it only got worse! The YSL one is absolutely lovely -- would be a great one to pick up at the next Sephora VIB sale! And for the Sisley, I find they often have great GWPs, which is how I landed the So Volume! ❤

I have been using the Lancôme one you featured. Like you, it’s ok. The YSL is interesting to me. I have also heard a lot about By Terry lately. I need to finish my stash before I purchase any for now. You look lovely in your top…such a beautiful color! Thanks for a heads up on mascaras to avoid.

Thank you so much, Jane! Yeah, the Lancôme mascara is nice, and I think it's especially nice for beginners, but it doesn't wow me. The YSL mascara really impressed me, so once my Sisley one is up I may purchase a full size of that. I need to look into the mascaras By Terry offers! Haha, it was on my wishlist for a long time as well! It's a highly popular item and it works for many other people, but unfortunately (or fortunately!) for me it's a big miss! It's difficult to tell in the video when I apply it, but it always sticks my lashes together. Thank you for watching and commenting! 😘

I have Chantecaille mascara and I have absolutely none of these problems as mentioned here. It's very nice mascara + serum in it.

Whew...that Sisley is spendy!! My favorite is the Benefit They're Real mascara and I use it with their primer. I also have that same Shesido lash curler that I've seen you use in other uploads...it's my favorite 🥰❤️

Ugh, I know. The price of that mascara kills me! It was a gift with purchase, but I am still unsure if I'll purchase one myself once it expires. I may buy the YSL one I mention in this video next! I used Benefit They're Real many moons ago, but I can't remember why I stopped using it. I haven't tried their primer, so maybe that's the trick with that mascara! I know for most Lancôme mascaras, I often need to use their primer. And yes! That Shiseido eyelash curler is SO good! It's so sturdy and reliable yet gentle on the lashes at the same time. 🥰 Thank you so much for watching my videos and for leaving me such fun comments to read! I really love them! ❤

I love the Chantecaille mascara. Im already on my 2nd tube & will continue to repurchase. I have very sensitive eyes & it is the only mascara that doesnt irritate my eyes. I find I can apply a very light natural layer but also build as desired. It is quite a wet formula initially but as it ages doesnt dry out quickly & lasts a long time, never smudges or flakes. I will agree it didnt look the best on your eyelashes in the demonstration but on mine it looks & wears beautifully & doesnt irritate in any way.

I’ve seen that mascara work beautifully on other people! It goes to show that it really is down to individual preferences and lashes. Once we find the mascara that works for us, we’re locked in! I’m glad the Chantecaille works well for you. 💕

Hi! No lash growth or improvement in the quality of my lashes, but the Sisley mascara is still my favourite. I haven't used any other mascara all year, but I use the brown one now. 🤎
