This isn't hot yaoi. This is a horrific non-consensual "kiss" between an insane serial killer and one of his victims.
@@milinaanilim8774 No problem. It really grossed me out to see this scene labeled as "BEST anime kiss ever". Anyone who has watched this film series knows that this was one of the most mortifying moments, I felt sick to my stomach watching someone forcibly drug and sexually assault someone else.

Anime Box Lol, I know what you mean, first time I saw shiki (from Kara no Kyoukai, ironically also named Shiki like the main character in Tsukihime and another character in Tsukihime) Was most likely in Melty blood, where she is a secret boss, I eventually also saw her in Fate/extra also as a secret boss, and in episode 12 of carnival phantasm (final scene where everybody is together in the bar, she is cooking) so I started doing research on who she was, finding out she was part of one of the very first novels by Type moon, eventually finding out she had 7 movies (series of movies) I had to go look it up, the movies are pretty good, they have some references in it from other type moon series (most likely due to the anime being made way later after the actual first novel) its a lot darker then what we all know from type moon, but its very awesome. If you are familiar with Tsukihime you will know what I mean with this: "mystic eyes" to me that made the series a very interesting part.
Mahi Tanveer Type-Moon is the name of the company that made Kara no Kyoukai, they make novels and graphic novels, Kara no Kyoukai was one of there first works as a light novel, they also have the fate series and Tsukihime series, I can't recommend the Tsukihime anime as its poorly made and looks nothing like the original novel, but the fate anime's are "quite all right" tough obviously if you want the real deal you just need to get the novels and graphic novels (buying, of course) I have a lot of there work already, its very good tough unfortunately you will need translation patches as most of it remains in Japanese.
The fact that after 4 years, I actually watched that movie by curiousity and read Lio's backstory and he became one of my fav characters... I know it sounds concerning, but I partly kin Lio. Being unique isn't always fun. Being lonely and misunderstood isn't fun. He is a well written character. The exact opposite of a role model, I find him fascinating and interesting. I wonder if anyone else feels that way...

Envicaxia What's wrong about shipping two males and liking Yaoi. Seriously, normal couples are so boring and it's always the same (the characters are mostly annoying as fck). Yaoi is just so much more, you can literally get everything you want from Yaoi and it's so much much more interesting than those shoujo couples. Makes me yawn when I watch a shoujo anime.

I was surprised to read so many comments about the blonde character's gender. I thought it was clear he's a male with a bishonen aesthetic; it never occurred to me people could be confused. (Admittedly, I watch a lot of anime so I'm well accustomed to seeing anime males being portrayed with romantic overtures and have seen countless bishonens through different cannonverses.). It's a very violent scene. Not what I was expecting for a completely different reason than the characters' genders.
+Antimony04 I don't know why but I knew it would be a guys when I clicked on the video, something about the picture. I've never had a problem telling the difference between genders in anime, even when I started, but all my friends do so I suppose it's easy enough. The only time I had any trouble guessing the gender of a character was Envy from FMA, I knew he was a guy it was just the fact his clothes looked like a dress, he had long hair, and would shapeshift into girls as easily as boys. Also the voice wasn't exactly masculine, yeah... turns out he was very much a guy .
The movie is called 'Kara no Kyoukai The Garden of Sinners' It's split into 7 movies and an OVA with the last and final movie (It's more a sequel) coming out the end of this year somewhen. The main character is a female with a split persona of a male one (it gets complicated). It's more a deep mystery/psychological thriller than a romantic flick, albeit there IS romance, but mainly between Kukutou and Shiki and the weird relationship Kukutou's sister has with him.
Not really a "kiss." More like "mouth to mouth poisoning." And I don't mean that simply because it's male on male like all the damn homophobes in this comment section, I mean that literally. Rio is poisoning Kokutou. Also Kara no Kyoukai is the best anime ever.
i believe you - after all it was revealed at the end. poisoning is done the best by the mouth, and what was he going to do, lol ask him to open his mouth? grabbing his chin or jaw or whatever would have made Kokutou struggle against him by trying to close it or something, and even if he did he would have the chance to spit it out; and there wouldnt be enough poison Rio wanted to be in him, most likely. so literally shoving it down his throat by mouth to mouth would be easiest. plus it would totally throw him off guard (as seen by his shocked face in the vid). really its a brilliant idea once you think about it. doesnt change it looked super sexy though :P
4eversupersonicgirl The fact that it looked non-consensual to start with immediately takes several points off of it's "sexiness rating" for me, even without bringing the poisoning into account. And I'm someone who's seen this anime and this scene in context of what's going on in it. Kara no Kyoukai is one of the best animes I've ever seen, but it's not something you should watch if you're looking for steamy romance, or if you are squeamish in any way. If you want a shocking, horrifying story that is still emotional and thought provoking without even once seeming like a juvenile representation of darkly-mature themes, you'd be hard-pressed to find a title better than this one.
Aya Shameimaru oh no!:O i didnt mean to give off the wrong impression >.< by my saying it was "sexy" accomidated by the ":P" was just my friendly sarcasm. i didnt know how to end my reply so i just added that part XD it wasnt meant to be taken seriously, honestly. as for my looking for smutty steamy romantic anime, that is SO not down my aisle. i mean yea i may like i kiss or two but to have it revolve around the anime altogether? no thank you XP animes like that arent worth looking at to me; in fact they are quite boring. (im more into FMA, Naruto part 1, Last EXILE, Black Butler, etc.) in fact, after the poisoning in the vid, when he said that the poison was 10x more powerful than weed i was actually interested, really. afterwards i checked out the reviews and saw far too many "masterpiece" ratings for me to pass it up. its rated 17+, so i cant wait for my b-day this year so i can look at it as a personal present. thanks so much for the recommendation though :D
4eversupersonicgirl Yes, it is definitely worthy of the title of "masterpiece" in terms of Japanese animated media. However it is also rated +17 for a reason. A very, very big reason. That very big reason is that it does not censor itself. At all. In any way whatsoever. Also sorry, I missed the joke at first. Kinda hard to tell with just text on a screen sometimes. XD
For all the yaoi fangirls here: I'm also a yaoi fangirl and, trust me, there's nothing good about this "kiss". If you watched the whole series you'd see this blong guy is a sick, disgusting psychopath, and you'd be sorry for Mikiya (the other guy). Gosh! He lost an eye, injured a leg, was forced to take the drug and still tried to get to the girl he loved to save her!
+Naruto Uchiha It's not romantic nor fluffy...anyone who says it is favors sadism. Just a fact, not saying anything is wrong with that kind of preference (in fiction). It was very obvious the one character was trying to make the other suffer for a certain reason, and the mouth-to-mouth was to put a toxic drug down his throat. That is all.
Answers to those who seek them: The name of this anime is Kara no Kyoukai; this scene, specifically, is near the end of the 7th movie, Satsujin Kousatsu Part 2. Not included in this scene is when Kokutou (black haired guy) gets stabbed in the eye. I think that was the best part.
Listen here's the thing; I can't even fangirl to this 'cause he's poisoning him.. :/ what a shame.. but it looks like a good anime, I'll be sure to watch it! :D
