Although there are some exaggerated parts and some characters that are original to this work, the characters and story are based on historical facts.

I hadn't heard of this until seeing it randomly on crunchyroll the other day, and this was such an amazing first ep. So dope that you're gonna be reacting to it!! Also the zelda game sound effects on the chest opening was funny lmao

The first episode reminds me of Game of Thrones. Tokiyuki's parkour moves were awesome, like Bran Stark climbing, but he didn't get hurt when pushed down.

I love the switchup which is soo apt.

Cloverworks have really been upping their game over the last few years, it's great to see after the disaster with TPN season 2 (that wasn't even their fault btw). Like sure, Windbreaker wasn't my cup of tea last season, but you can't knock the effort they put into it and the crazy level of animation and fight choreography that show had. This seemingly has that AND a compelling story to boot (which is what I felt was lacking from Windbreaker). Really looking forward to seeing what this show brings weekly.

He'll nah this ain't the best anime of 2024 and I repeat it not it wistoria wand and sword, it peak animation and good story with unique writing already literally frieren vibes, and ain't just me believe it or not.

Best anime?!? Hardly. The switch between seriousness and ridiculous comedy is way too jarring. There are MUCH better anime this year and we're only halfway through 2024.
