Excellent video with really valuable information 👏 We are a middle-aged couple visiting Tokyo for the first time in January 2024, and then maybe 2 nights in Fujisan (Mt Fuji) at the tail-end before heading back to Narita Airport. Which area in Tokyo do you suggest we stay given our itinerary, given a low to mid-range budget? 🤓
@JapanwithNao
@JapanwithNao 7 месяцев назад
Thank you for watching! I guess the area around Asakusa is one of your candidates for staying. There are many low to mid-range options👌 Not far away from Tokyo station, too, so please check the area when you search for a place to stay. Have a great time in Japan😉

Thank you for asking! It all depends on your budget and what you expect from sightseeing in Tokyo. If you don't mind the budget, staying in central Tokyo is the best option I believe. You can go anywhere in Tokyo easily. If you like hanging out and nightlife, Shibuya, Shinjuku and Roppongi are the areas. Therefore, staying around Shibuya or Shinjuku would be a good choice! Please feel free to ask more if you need😉 Have fun in Japan!

Hi! Planning to go on March-April 2024 to see the cherry blossoms with my mom. What's the best yet affordable area to stay for food and sightseeing with a bit of shopping (not priority)? I'm considering Asakusa, Nihonbashi and Ueno but are there other areas to check out? 😊 I doubt my mom would enjoy the touristy Shibuya or Shinjuku area haha! So I'm looking for an area where there are local food stores and cafes around and a nearby train station 😊

Hi! Sorry for the late response. I think Asakusa and Ueno are good for your conditions! You can also find places for cherry blossoms around there! Shibuya and Shinjuku are mostly for young people, but your mum could enjoy it because everything there will be new for her😉 Anyway, around Asakusa would be a good option! You can find many local food stores and cafes too!

Definitely check out Naka-Meguro and Ebisu, beautiful, affluent neighborhoods with easy JR access and plenty of local eats and cafes and close to cherry blossoms.

Hi Nao! I will be there with my family. Wife, 3y baby girl and and an elderly couple. Which area is the best to stay to get everywhere easily with a stroller and is also budget friendly? Thanks.

Thank you for watching! I believe around around Asakusa area is a good choice. It's more calm than other places I introduced (and cheaper) There are many foreign tourists staying there as well. Tokyo station is also close so it's convenient I believe but it all depends on where you wanna go to though😉 Have a good trip!

Going with my wife and one year old daughter in April. We looked at Shinjuku but decided against it since we'll have our daughter (not before I accidentally booked a hotel in the red light district though lol😅). Also looked at ueno and asakusa but felt they were too far north. Don't wanna have to be on the training for an hour+ every day. Now I'm looking at nihonbaashi, Ginza, or akasaka. Wonder if you have a preference between those three?
@do7aan

i think around ginza will be great for family travel

Hi, thank you for watching and for your comment! Nihonbashi and Ginza are in the same area, and both are so safe and convenient to move around Tokyo (slightly expensive, though)! So if you don't mind the cost, it's a nice idea to find around the place 😉 Asakusa is also a great area as many foreign tourists stay around the area I believe. But as you said, if you want to go to Shibuya and Shinjuku area often, it might be slightly far... About Shinjuku, West Shinjuku is a kind of business area, so it's also a good place to stay, I guess. If you wanna stay around Shinjuku but wanna avoid red-light areas, please check the west area. Anyway, have a wonderful trip with your family😊

So we found a hotel that offers from udon every night and unlimited free drinks from 5-7 and booked there. It's in Kanda so not too far from the nihonbashi/Ginza area.

Konichiwa. Your contents are informative n useful, but (nothing personal & no offense) your accent is very difficult to understand for gaijin. I suggest you could provide English subtitles to your future contents n wish you more success with your channel. Greetings from Indonesia

@JapanwithNao 👋 By the way, how was your holidays? You may had 3 days off. I am still traveling. Here we have 27 C🌞 but today in Europa, we have -17❄️ C. We took the turtles' eggs 🥚 in August and brought them in a safe place, and yesterday, we saw the little turtles 🐢 going back to the ocean. 🥰
