I'm at my bro's right now looking at the new addition to the back of their development-Castle View. This place was one giant farm, not a castle in sight. I suppose if you build an eight story home you might be able to see the castle at the miniature golf course.
Whoever thought of the idea for a character with alopecia that buys wigs for every situation he’s in is absolutely genius. Will never not laugh at his just woke up hair
The script writing of Mitch Hurwitz is so hilarious that none of the actors or Ron Howard wanted to try to improv or change things on the fly. Love that man!
I like the detail that George Sr. was fully aware that Michael’s suggestion to change the name was a smart idea. The characters in the show (mostly) aren’t stupid, they make stupid decisions for petty reasons.
This show was one brilliant joke after another in rapid fire succession! but it wasn't just a list of jokes. They all hung together and complimented one another perfectly. I miss the original three seasons so much.
i wish it couldve just stuck with 3 seasons, and maybe a edited down season 4 with an actual ending. Maybe a movie, with all the cast in the same story. as it stands now, 6 seasons, half of it is amazing, funniest show ever made. The other half is unpolished and a chore to watch. HOW CAN I RECOMMEND THE SHOW TO PEOPLE NOW
@@whodatninja439 theres a clear solution laid out to the cliffhanger throughout the season and the idea of arrested development ending on a cliffhanger is hilarious. season 5 is awful tho.
"oh my god, buster, his hand, HE HAS NO HAND!" my fav GOB scene i think... i always crack up laughing....that and him riding on his segue saying "Michael, Michael, Michael, my brother...Michael" after he denied GOB his XL frozen banana (which, ew, btw, i hate bananas, not sure why, but covered in chocolate and nuts? so gross!). Also from that same episode "give me a GOB!" and george michael exclaims: "GOB!" and GOB says "no, i didnt mean for you to say my own name back to me" and goes on to say that "a GOB" is what he calls some gross XL banana. i just love that scene, and the way he's like NO george michael... and the poor kid was trying so hard to do what his uncle was asking from him,,, lol
Mine will always be Mrs. Featherbottom's entrance to the living room from the staircase with the umbrella. "We shant be telling your mother this, shant we?"
Funnier scenes than this (in no order): "You get the hell out!" "Give me the hair!" "That's why you always leave a note." "Her?" (All 78 instances of them) "I've made a huge mistake." The conjugal visit "I'm afraid I overshot my wad on what was supposed to be a dry run, as it were, and now I'm afraid I have something of a mess on my hands." "Well I don't know what I was expecting..." Afternoon delight Any number of Lucille's quips about Lindsey's weight "I don't want no part of your tired-ass country club ya fareeeak beeetch!" "Like anyone would want to 'R' her." Buster's rant to Michael and GOB about their mom GOB's tape for George Michael's election "I'm a monster!!!!" Everyone breaking lightbulbs The family meeting Rita in the log house "You forgot to say the word 'away' again." I could keep going but I won't.
@Colin Mckie and Anthony the 'Chicken Dance' scene by the dining room table that George Senior started and the other Bluths joined in may have been one of the funniest moments in modern TV history. If you knew the show you laughed at the scene and when Michael quips,'Has anyone in this family ever even seen a chicken?' omg
"They're only going to hold it for 24 hours" Lol I totally missed this line the first like 3 times I watched the series, honestly I keep finding things I've missed every time I watch it.
@@ajaya2112 When someone orders a wig, especially someone with that amount of money, it is entirely custom made down to the last detail for that person. Especially something as niche as a "just woke up wig", it's not likely someone else is going to come in randomly and demand to buy that wig. Also it's a wig haha, they shouldn't take up that much storage room anyways.
I just recently understood the “it’s ready Mike, they’re only going to hold it for 24 hours” joke. I never got what it meant until a few months ago! What a great show.
My favorite scene is probably the one where Michael falls asleep talking with his Dad on the phone whilst he's staying at the hotel and ends up with an absolutely ridiculous phone bill.
Michael: It [the cabin] is going to up in Tahoe a couple more days. Maybe you could take a date. Lucille: How am I supposed to find someone willing to go into that musty old claptrap? Michael: .....................The cabin, yes! That would be difficult, too.
“It’s ready, Mike! They’re only going to hold it for 24 hours.”🤣 I had to watch that a second time to get what he was saying. God, that shit is funny.😭
Hilarious how GOB is so deprived of any support that at the first hint that Sitwell believes in him he immediately changes from pure disgust at sitwells condition to thinking it’s cute
