Great hunting, I'm not familiar with typing points so it's nice you are asking the questions, I can read the comments and learn something. Also like the raw video, it makes me feel like I'm there looking around with you, wind and all.. considering when it's windy that's what it sounds like! Good luck and carry on Shadow Master 😉
Hey thanks so much for the view and the feedback, Scott! I enjoy hearing what aspect people liked about my videos. Helps me figure out the formula for my channel! Thanks again!
Thank you for watching, Jeff! If one of my videos makes someone inspired to go outside and do stuff (especially with family) then that makes me very happy to hear and makes me want to keep doing videos. Thanks for the feedback! Get those kids out onto some arrowheads!
The part you are pointing out is called the ascending ramus.none of those bones are human.you don't need to worry. But you live in a rich area. From surface finds alone, you can't tell if the stone tools are contiguous with the megafauna remains.definitely worth doing research on the last 15000 years of natural history in your area. The more you know about it,the more you are likely to enjoy the hunt.you will find seashells on top of mount everest. All the land we walk on was once deep ocean bottom.
I have been doing a little more research on bones as of lately, and I think I've been missing out on a lot of cool finds that I've been leaving behind in the past. Last two hunts I had some finds that have really made me start re-examining the bones. Found two bone tools. Going to have a video or two about them up in a day or two. You are right about those bones not being human. One of them I was worried about but, yeah, it's just an animal bone thankfully. Definitely going to take your advice and research the bones and natural history of my area more. Thanks for watching and commenting with the good info and suggestions, Mike!
You're right about that. Seems to create a low pressure zone where stuff gets trapped and/or can't get washed out of. Thanks for watching and commenting!
Love the excitement. Reminds me of myself and why we do what we do...sorry can't help id the point...but I do know ya missed one! Ya never find em all. L8r
Oh, I've always hoped that someone will spot an arrowhead in my videos that I missed! What's the time signature? Thanks for watching and commenting, Rusty!
@@meandmyshadow6269 I'm just fooling around. I'm always joking but seriously. We never find em all. Try not to pick up leaves like me....so many times was sure I'd found a perfect agate basin....but it's always a willow leaf. L8r bud
@@rustyshackelfordiii5587 Lol, you got me good on that one! I always wonder how many I've just stepped right over and never saw at all. I'm sure it happens frequently. Yes, the leaves get me ALL the time. Those and also clam shells for some reason. Or shale.
@@meandmyshadow6269 oh those lil freshwater mussels take forever to learn not to pick them up...man this creek had these huge tadpoles that really confused me to why the arrowheads were swimming away😂🤣😂🤣
@@marshalllee2509 I've heard it is possible to find them in my area as well but so far I have never found one. I really want to! Thanks for watching and commenting!
That's what I'm worried about. Think you might be right. I don't know of any bone experts so I'm still hoping to find somebody to look at it for me so I can know if I need to turn it over to authorities or not. So many bones out at the river.
Thanks Ontario! When I mentioned you in my video I meant to also tell people to go visit your channel but I got lost in my ramblings and forgot. I'm headed to your channel now to watch your video. Thanks for watching!
@@meandmyshadow6269 no worries, the irony YT is up to their shenanigans again and your hid comment on my video, appreciate it anyways. Good luck on your next hunt.
@@meandmyshadow6269 I found a forum on the YT creator questions forums for submitting requests for unhiding requests, bc it turns out YT knows about it, I think it's tied to some algorithm bs. So hopefully your comments be seen once again eh.
Friend I received your comment in one of my videos, it appears in the notification but it was impossible for me to answer it, something happened, there it is, but I cannot answer it. The question you ask me at the end is not complete. A thousand apologies, if you can comment again please to see if I can answer. Thanks friend and the best for you. You have my Sub..
Thanks for watching, Pine! Also, thanks for help with the ID. Is Waubesa a sub-category of Adena or is that a tribe or something? Sorry, I'm so new to this.
@@meandmyshadow6269 No problem man! It’s part of the Adena cluster. Waubesa points just stretch a little further west than classic Adena points do. Just like our Gary points down here in MS. They’re found all the way over throughout Texas but the sub types vary from here to there, and there are at least 4 or 5 sub types in that cluster. Again, great finds and I really enjoyed the vids!! Great work brother…..keep em coming and Bol out there!! 👍🏻
