I know how it goes using your hat to sway bugs and slinging something off your hat. I was out to do some night fishing and as the sun went down, I put my $500 prescription Ray-Ban sunglasses on my hat. As we pulled up to the tree that we were going to tie off to, I saw a big spider jamming in a web. I took my hat off to sweat the spider away and slung my glasses out into the lake.

I purchases two Odelfi Strip lights and have been using them for over 6 months with many recharging cycles, to replace the more bulky traditional led head lamps, that often get in the way and constantly slip off my head when laying under a car, was just what i was looking for and very use full for most all maintenance tasks in confined spaces also.. draw backs for me is short battery life at high beam for longer hours of use , although better at the lower setting so two are needed l with one charging while using other other , the side lamp causes glare to be reflected by Glasses back into eyes. so i just use the main strip light . when using the motion on off sensing is problem , nice idea , However as mentioned if your working in tight spaces or even close proximity to something it will shut off and or turn on just when your working on a task can be a problem. so just leave that second button off. I very much like and use them constantly and yes v bright white wide daylight coverage is hard to beat as compaired with old school head lamps , the strip light on high beam can get a little warm over time but not big issue . hard to beat for the price range and yes brightness is blinding so be care full ! , I may step up to a similar brand X more professional style with a longer Battery life as they become more common.

You do know the bill on your hat blocks A LOT of the light. Guess that’s another good thing. It’s so bright that doesn’t matter.

I bought two of these and the LED light strip fell out of both of them. I had to glue it back in. Otherwise it is okay.

Detailing the inside of your car, you can see all places you've missed with a headlamp.

For the price these are if they last at least 2 years id be ok with replacing it if its the same price point .

That's not the odelfi headlamp. What you have is the ebay "knockoff" version. Not sure if the quality of odelfi is any better- but I've gone thru 2 of the ebay ones and the yellow strip peeled off and quit working

Actually, it is the odelfi headlamp. It was sent to us directly from the company. They have recently changed their packaging, which is why you may think this is an ebay knock off.
