The CJRB Frack in ti and S90V has a proper finger choil for the index finger. Same parent company . Pretty sure the price is close to identical.I dig the frag grenade texture better too.
Yeah same parent company, I have the Frack also but the Frack is bigger than the Ornis, I like them both but my Ornis has a much better action than my Ti Frack 👍🍻🍻
@@Stassa23 my Frack has amazing action. As a scientist, it isn't without friction, but the bearings may as well be a net zero regarding friction. My Frack has 100% freedom of movement should I allow it.
@@Cy1onRaider you definitely got a better one than mine, I’ve even taken it apart to clean it out but I think I just got a dud but I still personally prefer the size of the Ornis but that just a personal preference 👍🍻🍻
It's good looking and a heck of a good deal for the price, materials and design. That said, I do wish manufacturers would run their S90V a little higher. IDK what the HRC is on my Knifecenter exclusive Spyderco Shaman but that S90V is amazing. I'm still running the ( frequently stropped ) factory edge going on nearly 2 years and it's not a safe queen.
That plunge grind is really stupid. It does nothing but give you problems while sharpening. It's even uneven on different sides of the blade.. I widened the choil myself with a dremel but it makes the sharpened edge shorter by ~1.5mm.. Wish they listen to feedback and make the plunge steeper and more compact in the future but I don't think this is gonna happen. It's a shame because in other aspects it's almost a perfect knife for me.
Yeah I can’t stand seeing it, it’s not hard but I guess none of them think about actually sharpening the damn knife. I’ll cut mine In after the second sharpening since I now know exactly where it needs to be since I sharpened mine. Maybe if we keep complaining about it they will listen. 👍🍻🍻
Not everybody thinks like that. There is a review of this knife on a 611k subs channel. Not only he doesn't mention this problem, he even says ".. evennes of cutting bevel is realy really great..". Hell yeah it's even, they "just" had to increase the sharpening angle at the heel almost twice to keep it even 😂. And when I pointed it out, he hidden my comment lol. But hey, great that you talking about it, b/c the knife is great and needs to be fixed. And I'm gonna write a review on their website. 🍻
@@Stassa23 I can't lie. Ever since I got my BGM Kephart MagnaCut a week ago....9 month wait.... I could'nt care less about my Frack. My BGM Kephart has replaced ALL my former EDC knives. It fits perfect as a horizontal waist carry and the steel is perfectly heat treated. And since it is a fixed blade, no worries about action. This is my 3rd BGM and it is amazing.
